    This made scanning a whole lot easier and faster. I used to fret scanning using my multi function printer/scanner but no more with this Epson scanner. I think this is good scanner for general scanning. I was debating between this and ScanSnap ix1600 but glad I went with this one and saved over $100. My only gripe is if scanning black/white document or receipts, the scan quality seems a little fuzzy (not crisp). Otherwise, very happy with this purchase.

    So far has worked great. Very odd you put the paper in upside down (in both senses of the term, front faces away and top down) but automatically knows when to do double sided which is incredible!

    Nice and smooth scanner! No issues, just make sure you clean it as per the instructions as needed or it will give you an error while scanning.

    This scanner changed my life. Converting hard copies of documents to PDF’s was a long, arduous process for me before I picked this up. Now, I’m able to knock out large stacks of papers in no time, and it’s amazing for photo conversion as well (be sure to bump your resolution up to the max beforehand). I can’t recommend this enough for those looking to archive important files and pictures.

    In the past, I had a ScanSnap, which is significantly more expensive than this scanner, but this scanner is just as good, if not better. It’s super fast and efficient. The scanning software is also much, much easier to use than ScanSnap’s.

    Will return this item. Since most accessories are now wireless, it never dawned on me that this unit was NOT Bluetooth, but a cable is required to connect to the computer. My office setup makes this cumbersome, so I was never able to connect or use. Advertising should make clear — NOT BLUETOOTH, CABLE REQUIRED,

    Bought this item for home use. Quality of the scan is excellent and the speed is quick. Able to scan directly to PDF format with OCR support to create text searchable documents. When not in use, folds up into a pretty small foot print. Overall, very happy with the purchase
