I have used this to copy just documents so far. Excellent quality and minimal size files.

This scanner scans super fast and the quality of a photo scans is amazing. It was difficult to connect via WiFi, as requires the computer to use the 2.4 signal. My router automatically selects any close devices to use the 5.0 signal…..

This scanner is pretty awesome!! It’s very fast at scanning. We tested this thing out using the highest dpi possible, 1200dpi. It scanned a stack of photos in a short amount of time, I would say roughly 5-10 mins. For most people you don’t need 1200dpi unless you’re planning on doing major print work. 300dpi is all you really need for web based pics. The same pics scanned at 300 dpi.. took secs. The software used for this scanner does have color correction, but it’s really basic. I would use a program like Lightroom or Photoshop if you plan on doing any white balance or color correcting.

Great quality, very easy to use, and instructions were beyond helpful

Scanned all our old photos, it made the job very easy and I use it to scan receipts.

This machine is heaven sent…saves so much time. Spill photos out like cash.

I thought about this one for a long time back and forth while reading different reviews for quality and ease of use. Well as far as quality goes, I believe it is second to None but since this is my first one, I guess that is a little hasty.
Ease of use, well that is another story, using it to scan a batch of pictures of about 35 each time. Great, smooth and it gives you 2 copies of each photo to compare which is the better picture. I would like a feature to put “Enhanced” pictures in a separate folder and then when you wish to pick the best picture then put them side by side. It has A LOT of functions but also has videos to walk you through the steps. I thought long and hard on this device because of the high price compared to the others, however with maybe 2,000 photos from my fathers after he passed away, I will save time.
The time to complete this task, being able to have face recognition and training videos to walk you through the memories I believe was well worth the $$$.

20,000 photos scanned with no problems. This scanner does more than advertised.

in the 8 months that we have had this scanner we have scanned over 10,000 pictures. The scanner scans about 1 picture per second when using higher resolution and makes the job a breeze. Also having wireless capability is very useful since the scanner is not close to the computer.
Ross –
Outstanding piece of hardware that has saved me time. I need something that could withstand the test of thousands of scans and keep on trucking. If you have thousands and thousands of family photos to scan in and archive and/or share, this is your beast.
LoriW –
Excellent purchase and well worth the money. Scan quality is great and it’s easy to setup.
TomS –
Ultra fast, scans front and back at the same time. The software fixes the photos automatically, never had to adjust anything.
It also scans documents, if you don’t mind them saved as a photol

The FastFoto was super easy to use. I loved that it scans the front and back of the picture at the same time. I wish the photo resolution was better, but it was good enough for my purposes.

Works great for my needs. Just as it said it would.

This is a very high-quality scanner. It has taken some very old pictures and increase the quality of the significantly. I would highly recommend this tool for digitizing pictures and for creating digitized scrapbooks.

After 52 years if marriage, I’ve decided to digitize all our photos for our children and grandchildren. What a task….but much easier with the Epson scanner’s feature to load a stack of photos for quicker processing!

Wow! I read reviews that made me skepticle about this scanner. I was blown away about how well this scanner worked! I put in stacks of old photos. The Epson photo scanner ran through the photos 1/sec (as specified). Saved me lots of time!!

JacobmP –
Super cool machine, scans super fast and does everything you could want with your photos. BUT the software is NOT compatible with MAC OS Sonoma 14 latest update AT ALL! I had to return it since all I have are MAC computers.
DanR –
Scans great and fast. Getting the interface settings right and is a little difficult.
Tommy –
Works like a charm, going through boxes of old pictures
Super fast photo scanning
Easy to label files
A bit expensive, but it’s a niche product, specifically to make quick work of photo storage
ThucN –
The price is a bit steep but probably worth it in the long run for it’s speed and convenience in scanning and auto color correction. I had a lot of old faded prints and the Epson software did a pretty good job. Sure beats scanning a print on a flat bed scanner.
TechDC –
Scan pictures and documents quickly. Scans doublesided in one pass
tyranoman –

MichaelG –
Scans batches of pictures very fast and with great quality.
RaceFan –
I needed this to capture lots of old photos on flash drive for memorial. This absolutely performed even better than expected and made it possible to create a fitting tribute to share. Love it!
KatMac –
Scanner was extremely easy to set up. Software installation and connection (note: for scanners I prefer a plug-in connection and not wireless) to a Surface Pro was seamless. The user manual provides sufficient detailed information to select the user specified settings to meet your needs.
The quality of the scanned photos was excellent for for archiving family photos.
1. I selected the highest resolution along with with the option to color correct and scan hand-written text on the back of the photo. This results in three files per photo.
2. you can select a jpeg or tiff file
3. you can select amongst three photo types (standard to panoramic)
as my photos are from the early 1900s to the 60’s, the paper sizes and paper quality varies. So far, I’ve had no issues with jamming. Basically, use common sense with old, frayed edged photos.
I have fed the photos through singly and in batches of up to ten without issue.
so bottom line….I’m very happy with the unit so far.
TammyH –
The photo printer that I purchased was very nice easy to set up and works great. I would recommend it to anyone that would ask me. easiest copier to use in the world for photocopying.

CPReno –
Easy to use and fast. Setting up folders is a little challenging.
JamespatrickM –
Works great and fast. A bit expensive.
Easy to use.
Phillip –
Scans photos quickly. The Google Drive auto upload is convenient and makes sharing easy. I got lucky and mine doesn’t mark the photos. It seems pricy, but I needed to scan thousands of family photos so it was worth it.
AliceG –
excellent quality scans of old family photos. because you can scan 30+ pictures at once, it was very efficient. easy set up too on your computer
Versa3 –
Was able to scan over 3000 photos and the quality is incredible. I also like using the document scan feature.
