The Epson Ecotank printer is by far the most impressive printer I have ever had the pleasure of using. It has so many great specs it is unbelievable. For starters, the setup processes for this printer is the simplest and worry free that it could be. The setup guide is easy to follow and I had it setup and ready to go in about 20 minutes. The ink pours right in easy peasy; the printer takes about 10 minutes to charge afterwards, which I think is pretty fast considering the type of ink it uses. Wi-Fi setup was super simple; you just follow the instructions on the mini screen on the face of the printer.
It blows my mind that one bottle of ink will print 11,000 pages and that means full, whole page printed. So if you’re only printing small things on a piece of paper you could probably push that number to 16,000 easily. Not only that, it has a low energy efficiency so if you print quite a lot, then you will be saving on printing costs and your ink cost. The printer itself is very structurally sound, although I did notice the paper tray door could be a little sturdier. I also noticed that it didn’t come with an Ethernet cord but most people have those anyways. Everything about this printer is as easy as Sunday morning. Even installing the CD-ROM it came with on the desktop, it basically did it itself. I only had to follow a few on-screen instructions and it was setup within a few minutes.
I would definitely recommend this printer to anyone with high capacity printing needs and even those lower on the tech scale because of how easy it was to setup.

Constantly looses wifi connection. you have to restart the printer to be able to print. if the printer goes into power saving mode, after it wakes up its no longer connected to wifi. the printer prints fast, looks nice on you table other then that

Pros: ecotank inks are definitely easy to refill and the ink lasts a long time. This is a huge plus and one of the reasons we decided on this printer.
Cons: Wifi connectivity often drops out for no reason. But the real deal killer is that it completely stopped printing after a little more than 1 year of use. It just streaks ink across the pages now. We’ve gone through all of the troubleshooting steps, have lots of ink, and have tried 3 “power cleaning” procedures. It just seems like it wasn’t built to last.

Ive literally printed about 2500 pages in about a months worth of time i still have plenty of ink (which comes with it) it prints very high quality and is really really quick plus email printing and faxing plus google cloud and assistant connection its an amazing value and buy!

So far so good. It works well, and the ink lasts way longer than its toner counterparts. Really happy with them so far, hope they hold up in the long run. However, the cost efficiency is worth the switch for us with these. The ink costs about a 3rd of what the refurbished toner costs, and lasts roughly 3 times longer. So much cheaper to run. Epson has always been a trusted brand in my eyes.

All my previous printers have been HP’s and I was very reluctant to buy any other printers…. but I have to tell you…my Epson – EcoTank ET-M3170 Wireless Monochrome All-in-One SuperTank Printer is surprisingly very good! I believe I am converted to Epson’s now.

The set up was extremely easy which is nice because I’ve never had good luck with printers. I was connecting to a Mac which was relatively easy and it works super well with wi-fi printing from phones.

I bought this for 150.00 fast while they had them. People say they jam and dont like them because they are black and white. Mine is in a warehouse dusty all the time and never gives me any problems. Its fast at making copies and would highly recommend for rough use if you looking for something to last.

Have it for a week or so now. I like that it’s fast and good enough quality for every day general business printing. We have color printers also but more expensive to use for general tasks. I have some doubts that I’ll get 6000pages from the bottle of ink but we’ll see. One weird thing is that the paper comes out facing the rear, so you have to reach back or around to grab the paper, not a big deal.
