Epson ET-M2170 I followed start here document #1 unpack #2 fill in tank & charge the ink – but got stuck in #2 item 10 selected language and pressed ok – kept getting error message “E-01 Printer error. Contact Epson Support. Non-printing features are available. 000041”. I checked multiple times and still kept getting the same error message. I’m thinking of returning if I can’t get this resolved. Did I receive a defective product?

All one can expect is for the product to have the features and functions as advertised. The Epson all-in-one super tank printer meets these criteria. And to boot, it uses long lasting ecologically acceptable ink instead of toner. Great product.

The design of this printer is very poor. You need to be able to access both sides of it in order to use it. The paper tray and ink well are on the front, but it pushes the printed paper toward the back and the raised scan bed is silly.

Was there to buy ink and thankfully thought about checking this out. Cost to print compared to current Epson workstation at home and HP color LaserJet at the office made this choice a no-brainer for me. Will keep the other printers for color printing obviously, but day to day printing this will help drop cost quite a bit.

‘ve been using the Epson EcoTank ET-M2170 for about a month now, and I’m really happy with it. I was looking for a new printer that would save me money on ink, and this one definitely fits the bill. The included ink bottles can print up to 6,000 pages, so I won’t have to worry about running out of ink for a long time.
The printer is also very fast. It can print up to 20 pages per minute, so I can get my work done quickly. I also like that it has auto 2-sided printing, so I can save paper.
The print quality is also very good. Text is sharp and clear, and graphics are also well-rendered. I’ve been using the printer to print documents, presentations, and photos, and I’ve been very happy with the results.
Overall, I’m very happy with the Epson EcoTank ET-M2170. It’s a great printer that saves me money on ink and prints great quality documents and photos.
