    This printer is very, very slow. It even has a 5 second pause when initiating print on the second side. The print is not crisp and the color is faded. It does not have reduction or enlargement capabilities and it is very laud. Only good attribute is the ink capacity.

    I think it is an excellent printer. I haven’t had no issues setting it up and connecting to Wi-Fi. I got this printer to try to save money on ink and so far it hasn’t used up much at all. If you are using it mainly for photos I suggest the photo printer one. It’s not the best but the pictures came out pretty decent. So far I am happy with my purchase.

    This is the printer I use weekly and it’s the best printer I’ve ever used. I got this for creating shipping labels and printing paperwork for business and the ink lasts so long and is so vibrant in color, everything is easy to read . the ink doesn’t smudge and dries quickly . The Printer was easy to use and connected to my phone and laptop , I do everything on it with ease.

    Excellent product – I’ve previously owned the 3750. However, the stated print speed is NOT as stated. The speed of this printer is the same as the 3750. A little disappointed but it’s still a great printer and economical.

    Finally! Someone gets it. We don’t want to buy super expensive print cartridges that last no time. So far I am very happy with all of the features of this printer. It was very easy to setup. Love that it will Airprint from my iPhone. Top notch printer/scanner/copier. I would highly recommend it.

    This is the best printer yet I’ve had an HP printer for about 8 years and the ink was too expensive had to start using cheap ink a ended up ruining the printer so I went with the Epson 4850 and I’m very impressed

    Over all, great printer. I initially did not purchase this for printing photos but I had photo paper so I thought I’d try it out. The pictures come out so clear. I don’t see any pixelation whatsoever. Great buy and I got more out of it than expected

    We aren’t putting this one through the heavy usage we usually put our printers through – it’s our eldest child’s first printer for his school work. Set up entirely by a 12 year old (with supervision if he had questions, he didn’t). He’s been the only one to use it and has managed all aspects of it without any issues.

    The Epson ET-4850 has trouble printing the correct colors, far from your image colors most of the time. Greens and reds are the worst. It is a huge disappointment, Epson Customer service was no help.

    Had an issue with the first one o received getting stuck in a firmware uodate, however Best Buy exchanged it with no issues. The replacement has worked well for us so far with no problems!

    The Epson Ecotank ET-4850 is one of the best printers I have owned. It holds so much ink that i never have to worry about running out of ink or replacing ink cartridges. I always print in color to make sure the print head never gets dry or clogged and has been performing flawlessly for years now. (I am now referencing my Ecotank et-4750 which is in my second office). Both these models were super easy to set up and have been very user friendly. I will continue to purchase future models of the Ecotank series!

    Love this printer. It easily connected to our network, laptop, and iPhone. It was so easy to put in the ink and it was mess free. The print quality is great as well. Definitely worth the purchase.

    I Brought Epson ET-4850 last week, this was my first time this happen on a Epson printer, it came looking like used/refurbish, color of panel has mix color with white & tin yellow, there is a finger print on the printer screen, screen didn’t have the usual clear flip on it, the Customer service at Best Buy give me a odd looked, not very professional, then input “customer didn’t give info on why it got return/exchange on this monitor
    all I want is an exchange cause been using Epson brand for a very long time and was trust this brand too
    am thinking maybe QC went down hill or what ?

    hope they will do something about this QC issue and won’t let this happen to other customer.

    The printer we bought has trouble with the feeder tray. Pages often jam by catching on one side and wadding up inside the machine.

    It has great printing quality. The set us was so easy, I just followed the prompts on my phone, it even told me when to be patient and about how much longer it would take. Some reviews said it was loud but it does not seem loud to me.

    I absolutely love this printer. It is so easy on ink, I can’t believe it. No longer am I afraid to print in color. The size is smaller than my last printer, which is a plus. I’ve been a die hard HP fan for years, but am now an Epson fan. The ink tanks are the way to go. Nice and easy setup and lots of settings to customize as you wish.

    This printer is relatively easy to set up and so far (about 10 days) it performs admirably well. The reason I give it only 3 stars is because after the first printer I received was up and functioning well, I got a message to install new firmware. This requires connecting a USB B printer cable to your computer. For whatever reason, the install was interrupted and the result was that despite trying the various ways proposed by both Epson and You-Tube I could not get the printer unfrozen. I spoke with Epson techs and they advised me that the only solution was to return the device and get a replacement. Rather than follow the complex requirements of returning the device to them, I went directly to Best Buy and they handled the return and replacement swiftly and with no hassle whatsoever. This is why I buy such products from Best Buy, not directly from the manufacturers: No hassle returns.

    Epson ecotanks are the only way to go if you want consistent reliable printers without fussing with very expensive cartriges. Very reliable and highly recommended. So far I have purchased 3 of them. One for my mom and one for my brother. Its fun to email print jobs via email to send them messages. Very convenient.
