    Set your empty Ember Mug 2 on the included Charging Coaster 2 to charge. The smart LED light on the front of the Mug will breathe red when charging and be solid green when fully charged. The LED is white when heating or monitoring a hot beverage.

    Simply start pouring to turn on your Ember Mug 2. When empty, it will automatically enter sleep mode to conserve power. Ember intelligently turns on and off using patented sensors to detect liquid level and temperature.

    Once you’ve paired your Ember Mug 2 to the Ember app, remotely set your drinking temperature, save presets for all your favorite drinks, try our tea steeping timers, or personalize the smart LED to your favorite color. The Ember App is compatible with iOS and Android devices.
  • No More Microwaving
    Enjoy your hot beverages for hours without ever using a microwave. For safety reasons, the Ember Mug 2 should never be placed in a microwave oven.

    I received this mug as a gift. The mug is 10oz which is too small for me and makes me choose a smaller size on my keurig if i want to add creamer.

    The mug dies very quickly unless you leave it on the charger. It doesn’t usually even last for 1 cup of coffee for me.

    The heating causes my coffee (with cream) to build up a gross film on the sides of the mug

    The charge doesn’t last very long. I like It, for about 1 1/2 hours. For $100+, I’d expect 3 hours or longer off the charger.

    This thing is wonderful for morning coffees – if you have an outlet near a side table the dock is great to have handy and not an eyesore. Only thing I’d say is opt for the 14oz if you’re a heavy coffee drinker.

    Too small! . The size is my biggest issue. You can only make an 8 oz cup of coffee (which means really strong coffee) since you need room for creamer and still be able walk across the room without spilling it.

    I love HOT coffee through the last cup and this makes that happen, does not “cook” the coffee and app gives me ability to adjust. Handle is perfect, and rim is not thick so that is perfect too……..only thing is that is hold a cup size not a mug size of quantity, but for my expresso maker its perfect.

    I purchased this mug two and a half years ago, another one for my wife. Mi mug is chipping on the inside, I have no idea what I am ingesting. My wife’s stopped working, the app reads 84% battery, but does not keep it hot or warm, it just goes downhill unless it is sitting on the charging cradle. I contacted Ember, they replied they needed the serial number, I sent a picture of it, they then stopped communicating with me. For this price the mug should last substantially longer. I will switch to a different brand.
