Finally, Ember came up with a travel charger for the Travel Cup.

It’s something I wanted for a long time now. Previously would use an inverter and the charging base in the car. Now, I can just use the official Ember Car Charger.

Ember should have come along with this years ago. The travel mug is finally useful when traveling! Sure, 2-3 hours of battery life for the Mug 2 is good, but on a 10 hour drive, it was kinda pointless after a short time, and certainly no point in stopping at a coffee shop for a refill. Now, I can truly use the Mug 2 for the entirety of a drive.
I did have to use a little ingenuity to increase the circumference of the charging base so that it sat firmly in the cup holder and won’t let the Mug 2 rock around.

If you own a travel mug, this charger is a must. The travel mug’s battery life is short. I do wish they made the power plug Type C instead.
