    I had similar item bought 3 years ago. It stopped working. I like glass kettles! They are the best. I bought this time similar unit my original just gave up and i needed replacement. Mechanical switching can be improved.

    I followed the setup instructions step by step. I filled it with water to the fill line and was moving it to the heating pad and plug it into the outlet when I tilted it slightly and noticed a few drops of water. I thought I’d spilled water while filling it so I kept it tilted to drain all of the water but it never stopped. That’s when I realized the level of water was had changed and the kettle was leaking between the glass and the base. I never got the opportunity to plug it in and enjoy it. 🙁

    Been wanting an electric kettle for a while, finally got one with a Best Buy gift card I got. Can’t complain. I do wish the LED changed to like Red or something when it was done, but other than that it works great.
