I love my Electrolux washer. It performs so much better than I thought it would.

I needed a smaller washer and this is perfect. My clothes are cleaner and smell great after being washed. I wish I would’ve bought it sooner.

Controls are intuitive
Operation is much quieter than old Frigidaire model
spin on max wrings out most of the moisture making for much less drying time
Generally feels solid and well made.

I have learned from this washer that before you buy an appliance, you should read the manual. We’ve named it “Donna” (for prima donna) because after running it, it wants the door seals wiped and dried; it wants the soap dispenser emptied of accumulated water, dried, and left out; it wants the water input taps shut off. And, it wants you to run a cleansing cycle using special cleaning tablets once a month. Then you can clean out the pump.
Also, watch out for the depth: it’s small, but because it prefers to have its door open when not in service, it doesn’t fit into the space we have for it. It’s 25-inches deep PLUS the additional depth when the door is open.
It does seem to operate, but we’ve only had it for a month.
Would I recommend it? Don’t know. Depends on how much time and TLC you want to give a washing machine.

We bought this in early October and it either came defective or broke on the initial cycle. As far as I can tell, the water inlet valve is broken as the hot water feeds whether the machine is on/off or not even plugged in. The cycle timer also got stuck on 1 minute. This resulted in a pretty big flood in a few rooms as we had errands to run during the cycle. After researching a bit more as to what might be causing the issue and finding out about the class action lawsuits regarding mold buildup in these washers, I would not recommend anyone buy this and go with another brand that has more people using them. We plan on replacing this with an LG or Samsung.

We selected this washer specifically for its “second floor guarantee”.
We had purchased an LG washer earlier and while it was a good quality washer, our laundry room is on the second floor of our condo and it vibrated terribly. No matter what steps we took to reduce the vibrations it was unbearable.
The Electrolux , by comparison , is beautifully quiet and smooth, The controls are simple, straightforward and easy to use and understand.
Clothes come out clean and best of all the operation is very quiet.
If you have a second floor installation or a wood floor, this is the one to get.

The Electrolux washer has been excellent. Quiet, many cycle options and no noticeable vibration. It has exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend.

Well, I’ve had the washing machine in a month and I think it’s the best one that I’ve ever had in my life. It washes great. Love all the options in the spin cycle works fantastic!

This is a a small washer! But it was perfect for our laundry room. I would advise getting the pedestal if you have the room for it as it is pretty low to the floor otherwise. It cleans great!

I’ve only had it a couple months, but so far, I really like it! It has a larger capacity than my old compact washer, and it’s very easy to use!
CaliLaundress –
Low vibration as the machine is careful about initiating higher speed spin, takes time to balance load. Mild rocking on spin at times, no biggie. Day 1 after test cycle plus one other cycle, put on antivibration pads to see if eased rocking (it did not), and with that airflow beneath the machine, there was a strong, putrid, scent of something akin to vomit/feces coming from UNDER the machine at the back. Inside of machine did not smell. Per call to Electrolux, the scent happens in 2 out of 10 units. They said that it was mildew (I guess from when they tested the machine?). They wanted to repair it. We sent it back. And now I am supposed to clean the laundry room and contents, which is a pain, and moreso without a laundry machine, as we keep clearning linens in the closet. Laundromat, here we come!

Wanted a washer that was not as deep to be flush with being under a granite counter. Works well washes great with many options

Great for clothes and for a smaller space. A little more pricey for needing a smaller size but works amazing

Best choice I made buying this great and compact washer! Love it, it was an easy and professional delivery to my apartment. Quiet as I expected to be and I started using right away, clothes come out almost dry when finish. I was amazed.
I am so happy just like I expected from Best Buy, a good quality product.
Thank you and Yes, I have and will recommend to family and friends.
Happy 🙂 and satisfied customer!

It is compact washer as needed for inside closet location. In addition , I was looking for one with less water leak problem history since I live in a condo and this would be a very big problem. These are the two most important reasons for choosing Electrolux.
It was an easy and professional delivery to my apartment. Quiet as I expected to be and I started using right away. Clothes come out almost dry when finish. Perfect washing using the indicated bottons and following easy detergent indications which are easy to understand and follow. The only thing I miss is more information about using detergents and products like oxiclean and/or Soda . It says somemething about mixing “probably these ar OK”, NOT BLEACH!!! together with detergent. However, I have to practice more because if I follow the indications of OXIclean powder or Soda products , it comes like a heavy substance when mixing with the detergent, therefore had to mix with water.
I always dry the rubber around the drum , as indicated in the instructions to avoid mold and bad odors.
Other than the above issue: instruction about “mixing detergents”, I am very happy with the machine. Now I feel relax with the issues of water leakage.

This machine is ranked #1 by consumer reports for a reason. It is very quiet, extremely easy to use, and does a fantastic job washing all sorts of loads. There is a wide range of special programs and it has laundered some very delicate items perfectly. I highly recommend this appliance.

Time will tell on this appliance. It fits well in very tight quarters in the basement.
