After hooking up the surge protector, the on-off button would continually flash at all times and was very annoying. Best Buy, the Factory, and a local Elac dealer could not answer the question of how to get this blinking to stop. It could work very well, but this was enough of an annoyance that I purchased another surge protector and returned this unit.

The LED on the power button flashes constantly until you install the app on your phone and connect to the PR91. After connecting it to your app, the LED doesn’t flash anymore. I replaced an old Panamax making constant clicking sounds with this unit and it’s been very stable, quiet and the audio and video are all rock solid so far. Only been using it two days now. The app is supposed to tell you how much energy you are using and allows you to turn off power banks – I’ll probably never use it, but kinda cool if the electric cost estimates are close to reality (won’t know that for a while).

Beefy! This thing is a Cadillac of surge protectors. Only one real problem is the outlet should be placed a little farther apart for larger power packs.

**Only Problem is the Constant Flashing On Light!!
Says that you have to Connect to the WiFi, But the WiFi
will not Allow it to Connect.

This unit failed to connect to internet. Followed instructions. Tried all 3 methods, default “AP” mode, “EZ” mode and Bluetooth. After 2 hours of powering down, removing/reinstalling app and all three methods that was enough for me. What intrigued me about this unit was the remote control features. These did not function. Nuff said.

Power Button Flashes non-stop unless you connect the App (which I don’t care about); however, after 2 hours I still can’t get the App to connect. I had planned to use without the App because I needed 10 outlets, but they force you to use it.

It is great for surges and keeps the electricity at a constant level which adds years to your components but I had the geek squad here and even they couldn’t get the unit on the app. So it has all the functionality I want but I did pay $250 more than it is worth.

Thisis a good unit and power conditioner however that annoy blue light does not stop flashing and if you Cannot connect the app to the unit there is no way to turn it off buyer beware well made unit but the flashing blue light it’s gotta go

A power conditioner is an investment but when you see the fluctuation of voltage from your outlet on the front display as different items are being used in your home (space heater, dryer, etc.), you realize how much something like this protects your devices from every day use. The app was frustrating to set up, and the power button flashes excessively until its done. My phone didnt work so i had to use my tablet…
