Not bad but not great. I think it’s worth it for about $30-40. Definitely a lot to improve but there’s a ton of potential.

So back in the day when the Wii was bug there was a PGA games for it and you could use the Wii motion to “golf” and it was fun and you could connect online to play the real PGA golfers at the aame course they were playing and stuff….This game, while its very nice looking and now has Augusta on it something whoch previous golf games didnt there something i wish i knew before buy this. This game is brutal, and i mean brutal to start….i tried all swing types and had to choose what seems to be the oldest form of golf swing mechanics to hit the ball just to be able to even play the game. Then theres the acutal game….ive made perfect time stops in the swing motion to get what the computer says is a perfect swing only tonhave the ball land not where i targeted or anything! At one point its like theres no rythem or reason the ball goes anywhere it does…you’ll constantly be asking yourself why is my shoot going here and not there get nothing from the game about what to do better or how to imporve that….and the greens i mean its like a slip and slide. Now maybe theres a setting i missed to make the greens less fast but at default settings no matter if you club down or adjust to anything that ball will not stay on that green….unlike preious golf games where you could right away make spin on the ball and get it to at least slow down, not here you have to spend XP to learn that….theres another reviewer on here that said pretty much the same things im saying now, be prepared to start a golfer and if your not dead straight on you up and back motion with your thumbs or super precise your going to be playing the Korn ferry Tournament a lot, and even if you are very good at doing that the randomness where the ball will go will leave you utterly perplexed on how that happen because the game said you made a perfect swing…look golf is hard in real oife, and usaully in video games its hard to but this is just at times punch you in the dace take your lunch money hard…my advice is if you really need a golf game to scratch that itch or haven’t played one in awhile pick this up second hand, dont pay full price or just going golf for real, find a place you can rent clubs if you dont have any and go play the actual game. That way when you hit your ball it does the same thing like in the game goes somewhere you didnt want it to for now rythen or reason youll at least be outside living life…

Definitely a good game but there is a learning curve! If a person has been playing the 2K golf games, be warned the gameplay mechanics are totally different and you will be brutally punished for trying to swing or putt like 2K. Each person playing this game will have to tinker with settings to find what works for them. If a practice mode was included, I think this game would become more enjoyable. If you are a gamer trying to golf for real without going to real greens, this is the one to get!

The Masters leaves no stone unturned. Ive always loved the golf games all the way back to the Tiger Woods versions up until now. The graphics are unbelievable epescially if you play it on an OLED tv. Gamers that play this game already know. 100/100 thanks EA sports

For starters extremely poor documentation. Many glitches exist in this game. Actual game play is decent until you are near the green. Club carry seems to vary from hole to hole. Constant adjustments are required in the settings. Don’t get me started on how bad putting is. The last time I will ever purchase an E.A. game again. Oh how the mighty have fallen!

It’s your typical PGA. Lots of fun and challenges depending on your preferences. Couple of minor flaws but nothing major. If you like golf, you’ll like this game.

Gameplay is very good, well done by EA. Incredible amount of content and options. Big issue is that the challenges that can be played for rewards do not always register as complete even though I completed them. I am missing an incredible amount of points that could be used to upgrade my golfer for challenges I completed. EA support has told me going on 3 weeks that they are “looking” into it. Disappointing EA sports, my points are stuck somewhere “in the game”.

EA’s first golf game in 8 years is a welcome improvement over their previous offering (2015’s lackluster “Rory McIlroy PGA Tour”). The inclusion of all men’s golf major championships, including The Masters at a beautifully rendered Augusta National, provides golf fans with a virtual way to play the most important events of the year in career mode. There are lots of scenario-based Challenges to play, including new ones that get added in following each real-life event. That said, the gameplay can feel a bit disjointed at times…there seems to be some randomness, due to the “dispersion zone” that’s shown when aiming your shot. Putting and the short game both feel a tad clunky as well, especially if you’ve played the other golf game on the market, PGA 2K23. However, the game provides stunning visuals and plenty of content to keep both hackers and scratch golfers coming back for tee times again and again.

I have only played a few courses so far, but have thoroughly enjoyed it. There are different modes for your golf swing mechanics, so you can ply the way you like. I enjoy the arcade style with key presses on the swing meter. Now if they would make this a PSVR2 game, that would be insane. Would possibly be the best game to sell VR. Real life like golf at a bunch of courses in you living room. Hmm!

Game looks beautiful on screen. Putting and chipping from just off the green is very difficult however. Elevation compensation for yardage to pin is not very exact either. So not the best for game play but Augusta National is very nice to look at and experience.
