    Quickly dries hair. My wife claims it saves her 10-15 minutes a day – making the time/value proposition more acceptable.

    Downside — It seems that one of the thermistors in some of these units shuts the heating units down prematurely and does not reset. (Other reviews confirm this.) As a result, we had to return the original unit. Fortunately for us, it occurred with the return window, otherwise we’d have to ship iit back to Dyson and wait for a returned unit.

    It does take less time to dry my hair but it is somewhat clunky to use. It could be that I am just used to a dryer with a long nose. It has a sleek style but I am still grabbing my old long- nosed ion dryer.
