Prep hair: Before styling, ensure hair is detangling and completely dry. For best results, section hair. - Temperature: Begin at a medium heat (365O F) and adjust up or down depending on your hair type and texture.
- Loosen grip: Because the flexing plates shape to gather your hair, you can loosen your grip when styling, letting the machine do the work for you.
- Style speed: Flexing plates allow you to style hair in one, slow pass vs. multiple quick passes. To slow down your movements, try using one second per inch as a baseline. Speed may vary by hair type.
- Tress size: The perfect tress size will depend on your hair type. Try a few different section sizes and see what works best for you. If you have coarse hair, begin with a smaller section. If you have fine hair, try larger sections for a smoother glide.
- Position of tress: To maximize the benefits of the flexing plates, ensure your tress is in the middle of the plates when styling.
- Styling your ends: If you have fine hair, it may be difficult to style your ends. For a smooth glide, try styling the roots and mid-lengths of hair first, and style the ends last so you can take larger sections of hair. This allows the flexing plates to fully gather the section of hair.

This straightener feels like a luxury product, it is up to the dyson standards and can be used with or without the cord. This is super convenient which makes it super easy to do my hair on the go. My only complaint is that the battery only lasts for 15-20 minutes. Overall a great product, I would recommend.

I love it but unfortunately since the item i bought was refurbished, it turned off by itself within seconds of used. What i love the most is, you doesn’t need to straighten the hair several times, one time use works well with the hair thus it wouldn’t damage my hair. I returned the item but bought a new dyson hair straightener. Waiting for the order. Definitely worth buying for. I will recommend to buy a brand new rather than refurbished.

The flat iron is good but the only reason I gave it 2 stars was the battery did not last long not even 20 mins and I put it on the charging cord and it would not hold a charge while using it

Honestly the best hair straighter i have ever purchased. Heats up fast, makes my hair smooth with one run through and its cordless. The charge doesnt stay very long but i have medium length hair so it doesnt matter to me.
