I read the reviews about it suddenly dying after the first two years and I did not want to believe it after my Dyson Vacuum is still gong and lasted the test of time. But sadly 1 month past the 2 year warranty this thing stopped working it says it charges and fully charges but when you go to use it it turns off after less than a minute and is dead with no charge. I think Dyson cheaped out on the rechargeable battery. I am don’t even want to take a chance on the newer Dyson – Airstrait straightener after this experience $500 spent and 2years later its just a paper weight.

My wife loves it so much I bought her another one. She loves the performance, and the wireless capability enough to earn this product 5 stars. That said, her first one was about to turn 3 years old and wouldn’t hold a charge anymore. She followed the directions in terms of charging it properly, but disappointingly, it died anyway, and there is no option to replace the battery. I do not wish to buy her one every 3 years considering the price, but this is the one she loves now. Buyer beware.

Overall the the Dyson was nice. But it wasn’t everything I expected it to be. I prefer my Dyson air straight over this one. The battery life isn’t that great and it doesn’t charge very fast. It’s also super heavy

It’s definitely heavier than usual because of the material used but mainly because of the battery. The only thing that seems to be a con is that the battery is only good for one session. You constantly have to keep on charging it. But other than that, my girlfriend is really happy with her gift.
