    I’m prefacing this review with the fact I’ve only played through the tutorial. But, after talking several hours to get through the tutorial, and the fact the busted coop has prevented me playing more, I thought it would be important to review.

    Game is probably actually great if it works, but it’s currently busted and the last patch that “fixed” the issue did not in fact “fix” the coop. My issue in particular – I either freeze up upon loading OR I get booted via disconnect from my friends game. Repeatedly. I’m playing in Halo Series X Xbox, and every other game has no issue with online play so it’s definitely this game. I have a full squad of friends I want to play with, and I can’t. It’s a super bummer and who knows when it will be fixed.

    Second, I feel like I can actually write a gameplay/story review because the tutorial is HOURS long for absolutely no reason. I’m thinking the devs believe the story is stronger than it is, but it is – not good. The whole flashback stuff includes perhaps the most annoying character since Claptrap. I have sat through many bad stories in games, but this is just so bad and the characters stink.

    Gameplay is fun and if you like single player, you’ll have fun. I’m not grading the game on gameplay, but in technical issues disallowing me to play with friends, along with a far too long tutorial and crappy characters

    If you liked the first game you’ll love this one. Many of the game mechanics used in the first are still in this, but improved upon. Combat and parkour are much better, but still has the same feel as the original. If you’re just starting out I would recommend watching a tips and tricks video as some of the things they don’t explain very well (or maybe I was too impatient and skipped things). One thing I learned was to hold off on story missions. As much as you will want to just keep playing the story try to do as many side missions as possible. They give you a lot of rewards which will make story missions easier. I think the side missions are well done. I dont feel like im forced to waste my time on them, but each one is pretty interesting with good rewards. If you are thinkijg about this game just buy it.

    The original Dying Light was a masterpiece that mixed open world parkour with zombie combat. The sequel keeps all of the great features of the original while simultaneously upgrading and bolstering them.

    This game is great if you are a fan of the Dying Light series. I must say though, my experience was quite a buggy one. However, this game is tons of fun with friends just like the first one.

    I was hesitant on getting this game, I’m glad i waited though. Its fun but unfortunately it suffers from clearly being overpolished. It looks amazing and the night runs are actually heart rushing at times and overall it is a nice game; Unfortunately combat is worse than the 1st game and the stamina and infected system is an absolutly terrible addiction to this game. Im replaying dying light on the switch and its still amazing, first played on xbox and i even have it on pc but unfortunately this one isnt one that’ll get many replays. Maybe my opinion will change when i max out the stats but its just hard to find motivation to play. Also when the zombies begin the grabbing animation, its impossible to avoid allot of the time so unfortunately there is allot of x button mashing.

    Come on…..Really? Another Zombie fighting game? First let me give a positive. The game graphics and control on the Series X was “5” stars. Beyond that the game was rather boring. The ultimate package was ok but not worth the extra money. Wait until this hits the bargain bin or the used game market and pick it up then. Definitely there are better options out there. I just wish they would have focused on the end of the world concept and got rid of the entire zombie play. So much potential.

    While the first has things that are better, this one has things like that too but overall the departure or removal of chris avelone from the writing team severaly hurt this game and you can physically feel that when slogging through the crappy story, the game is fun but needs work, the devs are supporting the game and i guess finishing it, DLC will make the game 10x better im sure.

    Love this game!! Definitely-must-have, there is alot of camera movements and zombies gets annoying when you are doing missions and stuff like that but love how this game works, never had any issues with performance either

    DL 1 was one of my favorites of all time. While the tension has been dialed back a little, the paraglider and upgraded parkour are perfect additions. Overall I love it.

    I put this game off for awhile because I was told it wasn’t very good, well I disagree. I finally bought it and started to play it for myself. I think it’s good so far. The graphics are amazing on my series x and it feels like the first game so far. The controls were a little different from what I remember but it’s been awhile since I played the first game. I haven’t got too much time Into it yet but so far it’s met my expectations and I couldn’t be happier. The box the deluxe edition comes in is absolutely beautiful as well!
