    It has the distinctive Dragon Quest charm but can fall flat in many points. If you are a huge DQ fan you will pop off at many of the treasures you can find in the game

    A very fun and exciting dragon quest game. This one you switch between brother and sister which have no differences playstyle wise. Youll be able to tame creatures and have them assist you while hunting for treasure.

    This is a game for DQ fans who like collecting and completing tasks. There are many different treasures to collect (statues of heroes, monsters, armor and more from the DQ games); a simple yet fun battle system; and a large sampling of mosters to befriend.

    I actually was disappointed im this game. While the treasure hunting was fun, the monster variety was very bad. It consisted of a very small pool of monsters with color swaps.

    This is another excellent entry to the Dragon Quest series. The games graphics and mechanics are pretty good in my opinion and it’s fun to look for treasure while also battling monsters and recruiting them to the cause. I give this game 10/10

    If you’re looking for classic adventure in modern form, choose this game. It contains many action-based elements for gameplay. The story is riveting.

    I enjoyed the gameplay loop quite a bit with this one. But I must warn, variety isn’t it’s strong suit.

    Playing for a couple hours a night felt pretty satisfying and kept it fresh enough to wrap up the main story. If I was planning to blast through it in long play sessions, I cannot say I would of enjoyed it as much.

    I am a big Dragon Quest fan. There is so much fan service here for people like me. Its fun to walk around the world, listen to the great music (although it would be better if it was orchestral) and monsters are fun. The story is minimalistic, which is unfortunate, but there is plentely to do. Its a fun game for all people.

    I found the gameplay loop of finding treasure and then returning to your base to be appraised to be fun, though I will admit it can get repetitive at times. I always enjoy games that let you assemble a roster of monster companions, and while I did enjoy seeing all the cool monster designs, I feel like the variety could be a little lacking after a while as I ended up seeing the same designs with different color variations, though the base designs are charming enough for that to not be that big of an issue for me. Overall a solid spin-off for the Dragon Quest series.

    Great game for all ages. Kids and I love it. The art style is classic dragons quest. Gameplay overall is a little different than a traditional quest game but fun overall.

    Do you know what a JRPG is? What to learn what it is? This is the game to do it. Discover a new adventure with 2 young kids traveling thru a a crazy world of unique characters finding dragon stones and other iteams to bring balance to the universe. The normal things kids do on a daily bases. If you love Anime for the young crowd and want to try something new try this game. I tried the free demo first and enjoyed the game so I bought it and vest part all my progress in the demo transferred to the game. Two thumbs up.

    Another great dragon quest spin off. The gameplay is good, the graphics are nice, but the music sounds weird. Make sure to update the game or be greeted with weird midi versions of the songs in game.

    Very cute, fun little game that follows the Dragon Quest trope nicely. Could be a great game for a younger audience, but still has enough challenge and intrigue for older members of the DQ fan base.

    This game is alright. It’s got a lot of charm and fun monsters, but the battles are kind of boring. Treasure hunting gets repetitive very quickly.

    The exploring would be fun if you could use your movement abilities with reserve party members, but having only the three active members abilities available just makes things feel tedious.

    I would recommend this game if you’re a huge DQ11 fan. But if you’re here for the monster taming, this may not be the best choice.

    It started out a little slow, but once the gimmick of the game is understood its extremely fun and the story takes you on an amazing adventure for treasure. Highly recommend if you’re on the fence or if you’re just a DQ fan. Combat could be better, but that’s not the focus of this game.

    Dragon Quest Treasures is a great game for a long time dragon quest fan. Having played DQ11 gives you a connection to the characters but having played all the other games gives you a connection to the weapons and armor and some plot points. The story of the game is decent but overall it’s just a fun game to sit back, relax, and enjoy

    A different addition to the Dragon Quest series. It feels more like Captain Toad Treasure Tracker than Dragon Quest. I thought it would go more into Erik and Mia’s story and play like the previous DQ entries. It is fun to play if mostly treasure hunting is your thing.

    Fun game, poor performance. If you have the option to play this on a capable PC, do that. It’s super fun but if poor performance bothers you, this version isn’t for you.
