A entertaining new addition to the Switch retro-style game library. If you’ve played games like Scott Pilgrim,Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or River City Girls then you know what to expect from this game as the overall gameplay style is pretty much the same. From the two iconic brother kung-fu duo and their lover interest to the addition to a new character you’ll have a fun time as you battle through the levels to reach the finish.

Fun game and lots of fun to play. Well worth $30.00.
Steven –
Fun and action packed old school brawler! Love it! 🙂
Chris –
It’s a fun game for a bit. It gets repetitive after awhile, but you can unlock different characters, art, and music.
Erick –
Great retro style beat’em up. Great graphics and gameplay.
spawn1210 –
Classic DD but with a new art style and some newly added features make this a return to glory. I definitely recommend this game especially for old school gamers looking for that beat’em up action.

If you’re an old school fan of DD, you’ll probably have fun with this entry. It’s not quite as good as other recent Beat em Up games like Shredder’s Revenge or River City Girls… but it’s pretty solid for what it is. There’s a large cast of playable characters, which is cool. It’s only 2 players though, which is a bit of a bummer with how many characters they have available. My main gripe is that it feels a little too slow, plus the levels don’t feel distinct enough. Also, it’s very short (but that’s pretty common for this genre).
Overall, it’s worth it if you’re a fan. Just don’t go in with super high expectations.

Beat-em-up heaven, if you love Double Dragon I’m sure youll enjoy this~ A ton of unlockable characters and levels change up based on when you select them during a run.

This is the best double dragon to date. And it’s surely a collectors item.

Great memories from old school Double Dragon. It is a great game.

This is a really great couch coop game!
We enjoy the challenge of trying to beat it with no power ups. Definitely a must for the collection. No your average double dragon game but overall a great experience.

Best modern double dragon game in years, very wonderful repayable too. Feels like a true sequal to the old school feel games.
Zachary –
One of the best modern beat em ups I’ve played. Expertly replicates the feeling of genre while offering plenty of modern touches that increase replay value. The tag in system feels so good and the rogue lit elements are well integrated. Strongly recommend for fans of the series and genre

This reboot of Double Dragon is amazing and the level design is good but not great also the music is top notch as always as well as the gameplay is very good for what the title is known for so overall this game will be a great purchase for anybody who loves beat them up games
AdamV –
A worthy Double Dragon successor. However, while it is an enjoyable beat em up, if given the option, I’d pick up Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge instead.
StevenV –
This game needs online and DLC. Also local play should be up to 4.

Memories from my childhood. Introduced new characters tonplay with wich make it fun and different from other versions. The mission styke set up givs you more control over how you play and allow you to move forward even if you are stuck on a mission. Overall good dame.

This is my forst Double Gragon game ever, at age 41. I did play the original on my cousin’s NES. Was never that much of a fan, but this game seemed interesting to me.
Narciso –
Not the best of the series but lots of fun for brawler fans. Glad to have it in my collection.

CaptainNemo –
A great beat em up game that honestly meets the modern and classic feel of how this style is meant to be. The artwork is very well done, and the gameplay is wonderful. You can unlock several characters that have their unique way of play that adds a great amount of replayability. I thoroughly enjoyed this game.
Dav1986 –

Waynetech –
Its classic Double Dragon with many added improvements.
Playerone –
Great gane to add to the switch. Takes me back to my young days.
Josh –
The gameplay is cool, the evolving system of the villains are awesome and the only thing that is a little of is the upgrade system. In switch it stutters sometimes but its not unplayable.
Cosmo –
Double Dragon used to be a staple in the beatem genre. This is a return to those days. They did a great job with the flow and art style. I hope this means more will come in the future.

Double Dragon is a very underrated series. Not only is this a worthy entry but it’s a very fun game overall. The rogue like elements make different playthroughs interesting.
Mike –
I’m a big fan of Double Dragon and have almost every single Double Dragon game that came out and I have to say this new take on the new Double Dragon is great and a lot of fun! It has the same feel as the original Double Dragon for the NES back in the day but with all new features and animation and music, the graphics look great with a whole new look. And also bonus characters that you can play that have to be unlocked.
Oldschool –
I had to get this game for the new system. I played this in 1991 when it first came out when I was nine years old. Now I can play it with my 12 year old. Tradition means everything.
ROB1 –
Loving the new take on a classic. Double dragon has always been one of my favorite games from back in the NES.
pfachenda –
Absolutely enjoy not blowing into a cartridge. My 3 kids all love playing it with me. Need to keep bringing back the old school games.
BenderContender –
Fun game. Great throwback to 80’s and 90’s arcade era. This was a fun pick up for the family and Dad absolutely loves to play this when the kids are in bed. Graphics are average compared to other games in the genre but it’s Double Dragon arcade fun.
AndrewMD –
I haven’t played enough of it to give it a full review. However, many aspects of the original DD is gone. Not a bad thing, think more River City Girls concept.
