    A great port of the Nintendo Wii U Game. I never had the chance to play the original back on Wii U, so when I saw this version I knew I had to buy it, was a big fan of the ones back on SNES, and can say that this one is just as fun as those.

    I expected the vintage retro feel of Nintendo 64 reboot, much like they did with Mario RPG. This game was elementary, and super easy—I would only recommend this for kids.

    I was also disappointed that you couldn’t choose all the characters to play, you are limited to DK and Funky K, with the others as “powerups.” I grew up playing these games and thought it would be fun to reminisce in the same universe, perhaps with new twists from Switch—but DK has become a joke.

    My 8yo son liked this game, but I didn’t play it as long as some of the other Nintendo games he got around the same time. It was kinda hard for him.

    Now I’m an 80s baby so donkey Kong has always been one of my favorites. Let me tell you, some of these levels are HARD! LOL…but they are FUN! once you get the hang of the different effects the characters have it becomes easier. This game definitely keeps you on your toes!
