- Handle big payloads
RS 3 Pro uses extended carbon fiber axis arms to allow more balancing space for professional cameras, making it a perfect fit for cameras like the Sony FX6 or Canon C70 with 24-70mm F2.8 lenses, expanding creative possibilities. - Easy balancing
To make the balancing process easier, a fine-tuning knob has been added for the tilt axis to move the camera forward or backward more precisely. With Teflon®-coated components for lower friction resistance, RS 3 Pro can be balanced more smoothly, even when mounting heavy cameras. - High-capacity payloads
The optimized structural design of RS 3 Pro ensures that its weight remains the same as RS 2 at just 1.5 kg/3.3 lbs, while its load capacity is a robust 4.5 kg/10 lbs, delivering powerful support with a lightweight body. - Wireless shutter control
Equipped with Dual-Mode Bluetooth technology, RS 3 Pro is able to achieve efficient and reliable wireless shutter control. You can control video and photo shooting by simply pressing the record button on the stabilizer. Previously paired cameras can automatically reconnect. - Instant mode switching
By simply sliding the new gimbal mode switch, you can alternate between Pan follow, Pan and Tilt follow, and FPV modes. The FPV mode selection is also customizable to 3D Roll 360, Portrait, or Custom. - Sleek carbon fiber construction
The RS 3 Pro arms are constructed from layered sheets of uncut carbon fiber. This makes it lighter and stronger than the jointed carbon fiber material used on RS 2, increasing stiffness and a lower weight. - The next evolution of RS Stabilization
Empowered by a next-gen stabilization algorithm, RS 3 provides significantly enhanced stability in any scenario. Laboratory sampling data shows RS 3 provides a 20% increase in stability over RSC 2. - LiDAR assistance
To make focusing easier for handheld shooting, Ronin 4D’s LiDAR focusing technology is applied to RS 3 Pro. The new LiDAR Range Finder (RS) can project 43,200 ranging points within a 14-meter distance. - All-new focus motor
The next-gen DJI RS Focus Motor (2022) provides torque three times stronger (up to 1 N·m) and noise is reduced by 50%. This delivers a smoother focusing experience and reduces the effect on audio recording. - Extensive expandability
With dual RSA/NATO ports and a battery port, RS 3 Pro can be connected to various accessories such as the Twist Grip Dual Handle, Tethered Control Handle, and the new DJI Briefcase Handle to flexibly meet a variety of shooting requirements. - Solutions for any scenario
With DJI RS SDK protocol, third-party manufacturers and individual developers can now create customized solutions for RS 3 Pro.

I’m still trying to figure out how to use it vertical. Does anyone know?
Audie –
Having owned the original Ronin-S, the RS2, and now the RS3 Pro, I can say this newest version of the one handed Ronin is great. If you are happy with the RS2 and it fits your camera, then I would suggest to stick with the RS2 as the RS3 max payload is the same.
Biggest difference are the arms length, so it will be able to carry larger cameras and odd shaped cameras like the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema cameras. The larger screen is a welcome upgrade, but I truly love the automatic locking feature when you press sleep or turn off on the RS3.
Utilizing the Raveneye with the RS3 gives your a view on the Ronin screen which is also a pretty great new feature that the older models didn’t have.
I’ve tested the new focus motor and I can say it’s definitely stronger than the RS2’s.
For it’s price and capabilities and future expandability, the RS3 is a must have for any professional videographers.

Why would you provide the focus motor in the combo? Even though alone it is useless and you need to buy the lidar sensor to go with and be useful. I would have preferred for it not to be in tbe combo and lower the price a little bit

Body stabilization is best

I am very satisfied with it and I recommend all professionals.
Natty –
It was great but needs lot of practice to setup and use

Such an amazing Gimbal. Accidently bought the non pro thinking it would work with my Z9 but it was too heavy with a lense.

This thing is like magic, BUT it isn’t. You still need skills to make the magic happen. There IS a learning curve. You’ll need to learn a lot of menus and gimbal related terminology, and you’ll need to learn how to move with it… or you won’t get good, smooth results. Also, and this isn’t a knock on the product at all, but you’ll need to be in decent physical condition to use it with anything heavier than an iPhone or a Sony ZV-1. Get ready to start doing some yoga and stretches again. If you don’t have the time to put into the learning process, don’t buy it. That said, this is one of the finest pieces of production technology I’ve ever held in my hand. It’s truly impressive. Despite it’s light weight it feels premium and super sturdy. It pairs easily with smart phones and cameras. It delivers on what it promises. The only real knock against that I have so far is the case and the packaging that it comes in. The box it comes in is really flimsy and was beaten up really bad when I got it, which didn’t turn out to be a problem since it comes in a very sturdy semi-hard case. So, wait, didn’t I say that I had a problem with the case? Yep. It IS very sturdy, and reasonably well padded on the inside, but it isn’t well organized at all, IMO, and it’s not really big enough for everything that comes in it. I can barely zip the thing shut. Not cool. I would have preferred a lower price and no case at all over what they provided. I’m guying a 3rd party case so that I feel like it’s well protected and easy to find everything when putting it all together and putting it away.

Love it!!! Great buy, super helpful and works great…
JHawkPhoto –
Awesome gimble probably over kill for my setup but the versatility of this piece of equipment is amazing.
Aaron –
works amazing and any cinematographer needs to buy this stabilizer! the case is very well organized and the instruction are pretty clear with everything. Literally watch some reviews on the rs3 pro on youtube, near perfection at its finest.
MovesmoCo –
Excellent quality and build. Interfaces amazingly with Sony A7siii
CoreianP –
I purchase the Dji rs3 today and I feel like a Pro. So much inspiration just from holding it. I’m ready to get this adventure started. I’m learning ways of maneuvering the gimbal to my taste and it’s really fluid. I don’t mind taking my sweet time in balancing it because it will serve its purpose. And it has future upgrades for car mount and etc. get it now before it’s gone.
MohsenA –
good product, using it for a month,no problem with it,good for bigger dslr
Demond –
I love the rs 3 pro. It’s a huge jump from the osmo 6. Even though the dji osmo 6 is super convenient the rs 3 pro has everything I needed and then some. Looking forward to see what’s in store for the future of my business with this device. Thanks DJI
Zach2261 –
The RS3 pro is absolutely amazing. The locking feature is very cool and it makes it so much easier to balance and its so very smooth. Im so glad I purchased this.
MicahB –
Its smoothe, love the touch screen, makes my shots look 10x better
JavierT –
Amazing Product No Regrets! This really gets the job done.
framemedia –
I use this with my A7Siii and a Sigma 2.8 24-70mm. The focus motor is an absolute must if you want smooth zooming in real time. It’s also pretty very difficult to use this without a second handle, so I’m glad mine came with one. Oh, I’ve also shot with a vertical mount, and this gimbal has handled the extra top-heaviness along with being zoomed in or out.
AislynS –
Of course something like this happened. I’m missing 3 cords and the focus motor rod mount kit. I’m so beyond disappointed. I needed this for a shoot tomorrow and every gimbal in best buy near me is out of stock. Waited a week just to now have to wait another week.
TypeR –
If you know/ you know!!!! Probably the best gimbal on the market to date!!!!
ShashankR –
The product was really awesome and I was using it with my Sony fx3. It’s really value for money
ATCV –
Best DJI gimbal yet! Went from Ronin-M to Ronin-S to now the RS3 Pro. Much lighter and still a workhorse using the Sony A7S3 + 24-70mm GM II zoom lens.
CarlosF –
Amazing product.
I have used other gimbals in my life and this feels beyond what I am used to. This is a gimbal designed for the perfectionist. I am using an A7IV with a Sigma 24-70 mm works perfect with this setup.
LouDavinci –
Best gimbal i have ever used would highly recommend if your a serious content or video creator
Emily –
As an independent filmmaker, I absolutely love this gimbal for DSLRs! I’ve used it for three short films so far, and it has flawlessly stabilized the camera, resulting in beautiful tracking shots. This model is also one of the few I’ve found that can support my heavy lens. I highly recommend this gimbal for all filmmakers/content creators.
ShedarionPOV –
It’s perfect, I had to manually adjust the tilt balance, but other than that this is perfect
PabloV –
If you have a Canon C70, it’s very hard to balance, and you would also need to buy an extra grip to stabilize it. It’s also annoying how you lose stability during shoots.
ThomasR –
Great gimbal, helps me to achieve much more stable footage
RaulA –
Best gimbal I have used, for this price. Is so worth it
clintW –
Works very well with my Panasonic s52. Highly recommended!
JohnK –
The product I am sure is fine. Best Buy on the other hand is not. They shipped me an open-box item when I purchased new. Would not own up to their mistake?/bait and switch. I would not use them again for anything that’s worth more than $20 or so. Dishonest business treating customers this way is not acceptable. Not sure if it is coincidence but can’t even upload a photo of the box.
Akvisuals –
This gimbal is well worth the money! It was pretty easy to figure out how to use it. i have different brands of gimbals that i used before and this one is probably the easiest to use! the auto lock feature is incredible as well! and balancing my camera is a breeze!
Marcus –
Great stabilizer for any person wanting stable footage.
Gregory –
This gimbal does it all. Make sure to look out for the deals because it is 100% worth it. I’ve used both the RS2 Pro and the RS3 Pro and The RS3 is definitely waaaay better. This gimbal is worth every penny!
James –
This is a great product. I will get more thing for my business from this company.
StephenB –
Hard to use this item so I didn’t like it. Too expensive for quality level
MohamedH –
Very good and steady. I like so far. I like the second grip where it allows you to use both hands and balance the weight.
Unknown –
Best Gimbal on the market for events and Comercial use
Gadget –
Works great with my Nikon Z8 and 24-70 f2.8 lens. I highly recommend the RS3 pro kit. The raven eye makes it well worth it.
AKPhoto –
Pretty amazing how far gimbals have come… A year old and still the best for single op gimbals. With many options for multi person operations that take your productions to the next level.
Axelsmith –
The gimbal works like a charm. Handles a full size DSLR and the battery life is great
RicardoF –
It was a good purchase. Good quality use all the time.
Clint –
This thing is amazing. I’ve had an Osmo mobile for a couple years but this is next level for my full size camera. It’s like a cinema quality steady cam without all of the gear. Really excited to get some footage with it. Just make sure you balance your camera correctly. I had trouble at first but then balanced my camera and now it’s like magic.
