    Weighing only 1.3 kg/2.8 lbs (including gimbal, battery grip, and quick-release plates), RS 3 can be held easily in one hand, while its 3kg/6.6lb load capacity is more than enough to support mainstream cameras
  • Automated axis locks
    When the gimbal is off, press and hold the power button to unlock the axes while the gimbal expands automatically. Press the power button once, and the axes automatically lock and enter sleep mode. Press and hold the power button and it will fold and lock automatically.
  • Wireless shutter control
    By implementing Dual Mode Bluetooth, RS 3 supports wireless shutter control. After the initial Bluetooth pairing, you can control video and photo shooting by simply pressing the record button on the stabilizer. Previously paired cameras can automatically reconnect.
  • 3rd-Gen RS Stabilization Algorithm
    Empowered by a next-gen stabilization algorithm, RS 3 provides significantly enhanced stability in any scenario. Laboratory sampling data shows RS 3 provides a 20% increase in stability over RSC 2.

    When SuperSmooth mode is enabled, RS 3 increases motor torque to further enhance stabilization, delivering stable footage even in fast-moving scenarios or with 100mm-equivalent focal lenses.
  • Instant mode switching
    By simply sliding the new gimbal mode switch, you can alternate between Pan follow, Pan and Tilt follow, and FPV modes. The FPV mode selection is also customizable to 3D Roll 360, Portrait, or Custom.
  • Monitoring via smartphone
    RS 3 supports the Ronin Image Transmitter (previously known as the Ronin RavenEye Image Transmitter) to transmit 1080p/30fps HD live feeds directly to a mobile device.
  • 12-hour operating time + fast charging
    The new battery grip provides an extended runtime of up to 12 hours, enough to handle continuous shooting throughout the day. It supports 18W PD fast charging with a charge time of just 2.5 hours.
  • All-new focus motor*
    The next-gen DJI RS Focus Motor (2022) provides torque three times stronger (up to 1 N·m) and noise is reduced by 50%. This delivers a smoother focusing experience and reduces the effect on audio recording. *Sold separately.

    My husband bought this and he his found his perfect gimbal match. He had another one and it was to sensitive that it broke because the motor was on and the camera was heavy and not in use . This RONIN IS PERFECT for his heavy lenses

    I was debating on this or the rs3 pro. You really can’t go wrong with either, but this rs3 fit my budget. I mainly use this with a sony a74 camera & 17-28mm lens

    The RS3 is a very great piece of tech that supports the Sony FX3 in weight but also video smoothness. Definitely a great choice when looking for the right gimbal for an FX3 and other similar cameras. The only downside is the less capabilities than the RS3 pro but for the value of the price it’s the right choice and easy to learn how to use if you are a beginner.

    Bought it a while back, and it definitely leveled up my videos. I had so many small creature comforta that i still havent fully discovered. Good buy if you are thinking of filming for professional projects.

    Again another DJI product that I use in my Daily workflow on shoots, especially over the R2S. the massive 1.8 inch touch LCD screen is smooth and something that makes my life easy for on the go adjustments 🙂 for the money you can’t beat the type of performance that this gimbal offers. DJI your the best 🙂

    Super smooth gimbal. The features of this gimbal are incredible. Everything has been well-thought-out. Tho it took me a few try to balance my sigma 18-50 with my eos r, maybe pro would be better for it, but with my 50mm and 85 mm, it was light, smooth and amazing experience.

    I love this gimbal. I started using gimbals 10 years ago when they were 5k and sucked. This was purchased to replace my Ronin S. After using the RS3, my only regret is I did not get it sooner. Worth every penny, in my opinion. The self-locking and unlocking feature is worth its weight in gold. It makes it so easy to move around.

    An awesome gimbal that has helped me up my video quality! It’s fairly easy to use (I only knocked it down a star because of the confusion with features between the mini, regular, and pro) and can hold quite a bit of weight.

    My current load out is a Sony A7RV, a 24-105mm Sony lense, and a Sennheiser MKE 400 shotgun mic. I love this so much that I just picked up the Raveneye (the thing that allows active tracking) and will be adding that to the load out too!
