    Overall good product!! All the specifications as noted on the best buy website are accurate and works as expected. One of the only downsides, if you’re just upgrading your really old full Home Theater system, you will need to buy an active Subwoofer to meet the specs of the speakers; not a downside for those with a better receiver than an the average Home Theater. Good product and performance overall!!

    Purchased this as an upgrade to prior Denon i owned. This is awesome and my wife noticed that its alot louder and better sound quality. I mainly purchased it for the passthrough fory PlayStation 5 and xbox serious X. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants a good quality receiver without the large price tag

    So far I am loving this receiver, I didn’t pay full price which made it even easier to buy. I haven’t found something that I dislike so far, the only thing I think could be improved is the on screen menu to add more details about each setting for those who are not pros.

    Bought this to replace an older Denon that had started to die over the last few months and repair shop said it wasn’t worth fixing The new unit does everything my old one did plus a few extras for a decent price. Easy setup and better remote than the old ones and still has good power and clarity. Would definitely recommend

    This unit has awesome sound, and the Dolby Atmos works and sounds amazing. My only problem comes with listening to the dialog on movies and shows. The sound quality in that comes from the center channel is flat and a bit muffled at times. I will play with the sound and see if I cant add some some clarity and brightness to it. Otherwise, i am pleased with my purchase.

I cannot tell you how impressed I am with this purchase and the experience getting it from Best Buy, beginning to end it exceeded everything and now I am content with a receiver for years to come.

    I’m very pleased with this receiver. My older Pioneer died so I was forced to upgrade. It’s great to be able to finally connect my Apple TV 4K through the receiver rather than having to go through the TV / ARC. I also have a Pioneer Elite LX305 in my basement and I would have considered saving some money and going with this in that room as well if this model had been available.

    I did like the sound output of this amp. But it states it pass 4k@120 HZ. It does not due to a bad chipset. I think models after certain serial numbers have the updated chipset. But I bought brand new and after many hours of frustration I found this out after digging the internet. Denon fix is to send a separate box that needs power but only send 1 HDMI. Not acceptable. Only buy this if you plan to use this for audio only or sending 4k video at 60hz.

    Does a very nice job and is easy to connect. Paying slightly more to get the 90 watts/channel is worth it. Got this as a replacement for a failed 10 year old Marantz. Nice to be able to walk in the door and play whatever was playing from your phone in your car- instantly on the Denon. Sweet!

    This receiver represents the upper end of Denon’s ‘consumer’ level units. Denon manufactures many units costing FAR more.

    I use it in a 5.1 setup consisting of BIC America speakers including a 12” powered subwoofer.

    Setting up modern AV receivers can be a bit complex. The Audessey process is pretty good, but, for me, resulted in a bit of a flat sound. Tweaking the bass and equalizer settings was required. I spent a lot of time reading expert recommendations.

    So far, I have found it to be an acceptable unit for the cost, even if I’m not wildly enthusiastic about it.
