    Bought this receiver to replace a lower quality one and I am blown away by the sound difference. This, even with speakers that aren’t the highest quality. There is a noticeable, positive difference. Very easy to set up.

The Geek Squad Team was nothing less than spectacular in their effort to hook the receiver up to my other devices! They all deserve a special pay raise, corner offices, expanded vacation time, AND free donuts for life! Nice work!

    I spent some time reviewing AV Receivers that can support 4K Gaming up to 120FPS. Reviewing AVS forums and few other reviews, I opted for this S960 over the newer models simply because it does well for staying in the 4K realm of TV, Video, and Gaming. I have definatly noticed a differecnce with this AV Reciever over my older S710 it replaced. And I had it priced matched to Denons website sale during Black Friday, since it was not a BF sale item, saving about $300.

    Overall very pleased. In hindsight I would have gotten similar X series model with more than one 4k120 input/output hdmi ports. I added the expansion module that gives 3 4k120 hdmi ports. I do have an issue with “no signal detected” randomly with LG C1. switch inputs back and forth resolves.

    I had this receiver for almost 2 years now. The sounds is truly amazing, especially when you calibrate the speakers to the room settings. My last receiver was a Sony. Sorry Sony, Denon is my choice receiver.

    The hook up directions are printed for clear and easy steps to follow. This is the top of the line product for quality sound effects.

    I really like this receiver, over all options and capabilities are great. I feel it produces good sound through my klipsch speakers. Can’t wait to move to a bigger place and take full advantage of the speaker input capabilities. Only issues I have so far is a lag when media types switch from what I am watching between different apps and such. Once I have more time to dig into the settings to really fine tune it I’ll update this review for sure.
