I bought this for our HP computer. It worked for a day, overheated the computer the next, then after that the computer didn’t recognize it and wouldn’t charge. Probably a good thing though, it might have wrecked my computer if it had overheated again. It was also very hard to return. The store wouldn’t take it back and said I had to call the 888 number. After 45 minutes on hold and several transfers later, they said the store should have taken it back. I went back to the store and waited after she said I couldn’t return it again, it took a huddle of 5 people 5 minutes to come up with an override. I don’t think I’m shopping at Best Buy anymore.

I had problems with my original charger, so Best Buy gave me a certificate to purchase this charger. It is cheaper than many other chargers I saw on Best Buy and other places, so I didn’t expect too much. While it was working, it has a good length and fits snugly into the computer port. However, the block does get quite hot during use, and the charger stopped working altogether in about 5 months.
Overall, good charger, but not the best quality. Might burn out earlier than other, more expensive chargers.

Cord from adaptor is very short. Have to keep adaptor on you desk or the weight of the adaptor pulls on your computer.
