    the item look good but if you have newXPS laptop need check the model #.This charger do not work on all XPS.

    As far as I can tell this unit is an exact replacement for the power adapter that came with my Dell XPS M1710, for about one third the cost of buying one from Dell. It has the same size and weight as the original. The adapter plug seats securely into the receptacle on the laptop and does not come loose. It does not overheat. So far, all good!

    The product worked as described. My only issue is the plug could be longer. It’s a little short so the invertor doesn’t set on the floor when I have may laptop in my lap. So the weight of it causes it to unplug from laptop. If they would add 2 feet to the plug it would be perfect. But because it’s short and unplugs from my laptop I can only give it a 3 stars.

    I needed a replacement charger for my laptop. As I was going to replace the computer soon, I did not want to pay the price for a replacement charger from Dell. This was the perfect replacement at the time.

    Good price for replacement charger to be used for a school issued laptop. School wanted $75 to replace the charger- we replaced it it from Best Buy for 1/3 the cost. Looks just like the one that was lost and works better- doesn’t get hot on the converter box.

    The product arrived on time and in mint condition. If I had a different model, it may have fit. This adapter was not compatible with my specific Dell XPS 15 model but perhaps it will be compatible with a different model. For my Dell XPS 15 9530, the prong did not snuggle fit into the pc. It was too big for my pc so I need a different adapter, smaller, that will fit my pc.

    I was glad to find a replacement AC adapter and charger at a good price for my old workhorse Dell XPS laptop. The Best Buy reps were helpful in identifying and ordering for me what I needed. But DOS doesn’t always recognize the adapter, so I get an error message and recommendation to boot in safe mode about 15% of the time. Also, the cords don’t fit tightly, so about 30% of the time, it’s not plugged in or charging when I think it is. Still, it works and stays available to keep my ten-year-old baby running, so more plus than minus, all in all.

    It was the wrong product for the computer I needed it for. The description of it did NOT say it would work with only certain models of the Dell Laptop that I owned. There needs a better description listed on the BEST BUY site, with a clear outline of what it WOULDN’T fit. I returned it for credit, and got the right power supply from a local computer shop.

    I have a Dell Inspirion 7586. This charger did not charge the laptop so I had to return it. I had used the chat feature to check before buying this and asked them to recommend a charger that was compatible with my laptop. They were wrong.

    I need a second power supply. The sales agent picked one of three as he could not determine the difference in the models. The plug was too big.

    Charger works exactly as described. Unlike the original dell charger, though, there is no indicator light on the charger itself to tell you it is drawing power.

    Despite the description saying it would fit a dell xps laptop, it didn’t. It had a large male end, the xps needs a small one. Product may be fine, description was wrong.

    This did not fit my computer. Also, the store refuses to accept my return even though it was purchased from the store along with curbside pick up. The website states you are accepting returns. Please advise on how to get this resolved.

    The adapter hasn’t lasted longer than a year, this would be my third time replacing the adapter under warranty. The bright side to it all, that best buy honors the warranty with hassle free customer service.

    Apparently mine didn’t fit. The store couldn’t handle the returns so had to do it myself. Be prepared for that.

    Power cord fits perfectly in travel bag. Peer supply works great with the Dell G3.

    Replaced original equipment which failed after five years. Had to search for this replacement due to specifications, and first online purchase was incorrectly matched, so found this thru Best Buy. Works very well, but deducted one star for the cord length being too short to allow the transformer block to rest on the floor.

    Was not the proper wattage output for my XPS 13 at the time, but at least it turned my computer on. It just never charged it.
    Good points i guess is the multiple tip options for a variety of different devices.

    The power cord was not the problem. It was finally determined that it was the port on the computer that was the problem. Jordan, Andrew, Mikey, and all the Geek Squad of Geneva IL store were more than kind and accommodating. Your call center however makes them inaccessab!e and should be dissolved.

    This power adapter does keep the laptop running but however it does not charge the battery. The Dell laptop gives a warning that the power supply is not suited for the device.
