Gives off a great theater sound. The only complaint I have is because the technician installed one larger speaker out of mistake and it looks bad but the product is great.

I always buy Klipsch in-ceiling speakers but since they have gone up in price, I decided to try DT instead since they were cheaper and I had a great recommendation from my neighbor.
These DT 8R sound pretty good. They have great treble. good range, and decent bass. I ended up returning them and I got the DI 8R instead. I was able to get those speakers for a much better price and they have better bass.
Overall, a cheaper and decent alternative to Klipsch in-ceiling speakers.

Very surprised although i shouldn’t have been with Definitive Technology’s reputation. The 8in provides nice bass while still sounding clear.
