For my room, testing this next to a SVS SB-4000, (SVS costs more) this sub out preformed the SVS. The DN15 has all the benefits of a ported sub without the chuffing. Warning though, this sub weighs over 150lbs. Not the easiest unboxing experience and my first shipment attempt arrived damaged.

Make sure you have room for this! This thing goes deep! It has a musical quality as well.

Best advice I can give: just buy an SVS sb3000 or preferably a pb3000 and never look back. Only 500 watts rms for the Def Tech and it shows when running it hard. Lacks depth, range and chest pumping bass capabilities. The sound is flat and boomy at reference level. You won’t be impressed. That’s why there are literally no reviews for this anywhere. Run it at 3/4 and it warns you that its overworked. No thanks.
