    I’m 63 and have used drip, French press, and vacuum coffee makers. Each have there place but for day to day rapid fire, nothing beats a proper drip, it’s like a big pour over. Friends started giving me their old Cuisinart Grind n Brew when they bought a new one. I liked it until I understood a blade vs vs burr grind.
    I bought a Braun Burr Grinder and used it with my old Cuisinart and a big Bunn drip. Bunn is famous in most restaurants and convenient stores but Bunn pours real hot real fast, like the regular setting in this Cuisinart. I wanted a bigger than 10-cup and a slower pour so I shopped and decided between this and Hamilton Beach Front-Fill. The front fill is perfect for under counter and the Cuisinart is not too difficult to fill but you don’t fill it daily with the 14-cup. Same price so why by anything other than the most researched coffee makers and Best Buy had it on-sale and in stock. I’m a week in drinking too much coffee just so I can brew again. I bought the $60 Cuisinart Burr grinder also to replace my 20 yr old Braun Burr. It holds a week or more of beans and has precise settings. So many favorable Cuisinart YT vids and reviews including mine. I Burr grind, brew at Bold setting and store extra coffee in fridge and reheat as needed. With my equipment, I don’t have to grind and brew daily and the gold tone reusable filter works great and cleans fast. Also, it’s the best coffee ever, comparable to getting a cup of Starbucks house roast.

    This is actually our 3rd Cuisinart coffee maker in less than 25 years, and all of them under $100!!! The first one lasted about 13 and the second lasted a little over 12 years. If I may get 15 years out of our third, I’ll be thrilled! Cuisinart coffee makers are the best coffee maker for the money – a true fantastic value!

    I have lost track of how many of these items we have purchased over the years. It has been our maker of choice for over 20 years. It makes very consistent coffee. Early in the Covid pandemic ours failed and we could not get one locally. Delivery was going to take over 3 weeks. We ordered one but bought an inexpensive M Coffee until it arrived. The quality of the coffee remains high, but in recent years they have only lasted about 3-4 years. The failures on the last 2 were leaks in the reservoir

    This did not even last 3 years. We usually wipe around the coffee maker but during a recent cleaning realized it was stating to ruin our IKEA butcher block counter and it was rusting on the bottom. We are careful not to splash water while filling and it’s not near a sink. This was expensive and a disaster. Made decent coffee but caused expensive damage.

    I had a cuisinart coffee maker before and loved it. I got a Ninja a few years later thinking it was an upgrade. It wasn’t. My mom took my old cuisinart and used it another 6 or more years before it failed.
    I saw this one on sale at BestBuy and decided I had to have it. Brews a great cup of coffee and has the option to make the carafe hotter. Perfect coffee maker for me

    Good coffee maker but “perfect” temp not so good. You have the option to make brewing temperature hotter but it does not seem to work.
