Uneven heating—anything that touched the center of the toaster burnt. Either the crust or the center of the bread burnt. Had to return it. Very disappointed, as this is usually a very good brand. Would not recommend.

1. Only toasts one side of the bread (bagel setting) as the inside heating elements DO NOT WORK. Never moves out of the bagel setting, no matter what.
2. The top gets BLAZINGLY HOT. It’s impossible to avoid getting burned every time you use the toaster. Presents a serious safety hazard and certainly could never be safely used by or around children – or adults!
3. Extremely flimsy with very shoddy workmanship.

Dude these slots are HUGE! We use Dave’s Killer Bread and you can fit 2 slices in one side. So you can make 4 at one time! Also defrosts hashbrowns fast.

I very much like the long slice for toasting artisanal breads. It toasts evenly and the reheat feature is nice. My one complaint, and this is a big one because I eat a lot of bagels, is that the bagel setting does not allow for one sided toasting, it seems to toast both sides evenly causing any toppings (seeds, onions, etc.)to burn. My former toaster and indeed every toaster I have ever encountered prior to this has a bagel setting that when pushed toasts only one side of the bagel. So I am not entirely sure what this bagel button actually does, manual says it toasts them longer, but why I ask you. I was desperate for a toaster because mine died and I had company coming in 3 days. So would I buy this again? Nope! Recommend to others? Nope. By the way it received high ratings with none of the above mentioned in reviews that I saw.

Excellent toaster for the money. Solves issues of big pieces of bread or toasting more than 2 slices at a time

Was happy with it for about 30 days but then the middle heat elements stopped working. So now only one side of the bread gets toasted. And of course it is past its return period. Don’t buy!

Had a smaller cuisinart toast, but was limited on the size of bread that would fit in it. This solved that problem
Bageldude –
Working great, but still not sure which way to put bagels in as elements on both sides of the slots heat up?
JuJu –
Purchased it to replace an older large slot. Does the job.
Mustang –
Love the convenience of being able to toast 4 slices or two larges slices

Love it great for big slices of sourdough bread and Muffins

This toaster is awesome, especially for homemade bread and the design makes it easy to fit on your counter.

We replaced our 20 yr old Cuisinart with this new one. 2 weeks after using, the toaster mechanism wouldn’t stay down. Researched on-line about possible causes and all say take apart first. Well, with these new models that’s any easy thing to do with non-typical screws and latching mechanisms. So back in the box and back to Best Buy this one goes. Fortunately we still had our old one, so back on the counter she goes.

useless after 6 weeks. the lever to drop the toast broke. This is the second time I bought this model, and the other toaster had to be returned as well.

The wife thought it was the size of a bus. I like it. We did need to move tje toastervto a new location. But its nice to dobteo english muffins at the same time.
GDSsteve –
It looks nice, toasts well, falls short as far as settings, bagel setting is a joke, it still turns on all 4 sides of heating coils (not two), which also is best for heating pop tarts
Mit9014 –
Great toaster. but we needed two toast cycle 1 for med and one for dark. which if you everyone likes toast same way
Tinkerer –
Looks nice, toasts the same as my old less expensive toaster. Thought Cuisinart would toast a little better. I guess all toasters are the same, they make toast!!
EricC –
It’s really long. Works great. It puts out a lot of heat be careful in under counter use
Beckie –
Great toaster. Cooks everything perfectly.
Love all the settings.
Greg –
We love this toaster. The extra long slots are perfect for artisanal breads.
JeffO –
My wife loves sourdough avocado toast, but had to put one end and the other into a regular toaster. Problem solved!
MonicaN –
We don’t feel like the knob to set the cooking setting stays in place consistently. It is slim, but also takes longer than we’d like to heat up and cook.
Chefman –
Great to handle traditional breads and the longer, thicker artisan breads. Toasts evenly No issues thus far.
Schleis1 –
We love our new toaster. Everything works great. The toast co.es out just how we like it.Very happy with it.
JamesB –
Toaster fits large slices of fresh bread and allows you to lift the toast out of the toaster w/o burning your fingers.
