I paid a lot of money for a quality toaster. After using it for a few days it was apparently not this toaster. The slots are so small you have trouble getting a piece of plain sandwich bread toast out. The lever that is supposed to push the toast up barely helps. Two different times it would not let me change the dark/light settings. I returned it.

My old Cuisinart toaster lasted over 20 years and did a great job until the end of it’s lifespan. This new toaster I want to say it is as good but the toasting isn’t even but it does have it’s good points. It is easy to use and looks nice on the counter and has various function keys.
Most reviews I read on all toasters many said the toasting wasn’t even. I tried a couple other brands and they were worse so ended up going with the Cuisinart toaster.
Not sure if it will last as long as my first Cuisinart toaster as many newer products these days just don’t have the longevity as products made years ago. Time will tell.

It looks nice and it has nice features. As a toaster I would say it is pretty average. Not especially fast or efficient….especially with sourdough bread. It seems impossible to find a great toaster.

Overall a good unit. Though, for those who want a good crisp toasted bagel or english muffin the unit is a little underpowered which requires a second toasting to get a crisp result.
