Pretty decent set. My paring knife has a defect on the edge of the blade. The edge has a piece of metal missing which may have happened during the sharpening process by the manufacturer. That’s too bad because that is one of the knives I would use most often. I may just return the set and go with a different brand.

Bought this on an impulse. The price was right and you can’t deny the Cuisinart quality. 2 negatives – the wooden block is larger than I expected so it takes up a lot of room on the counter and you are not supposed to put them in the dishwasher! Overall, the knives are great. Will probably never use the sharpener.
