Cybil –
Great toaster with even browning. I buy for all of my offices across the country.

Bought this for my granddaughter for christmas, she loves her new toaster.

Knob feels like it’s going to break off at any minute. The electrical cord is barely longer than the toaster, which is important to mention because it connects towards the front of the toaster (on the bottom, yes, but there’s a reason I’m mentioning this). The front of the toaster near the lever gets blazing hot. The whole toaster gets hit, but especially near the lever because that’s near where the plug goes in and contains the main heating element. Most toasters put this in the back so you don’t burn yourself. Cuisinart put this in the front so you will burn yourself. One of the poorest designs I’ve ever seen. Must’ve saved them $0.50 a toaster! Man, they’ll make millions on this bad design. This is profit-seeing crap from top to bottom. It looks kinda nice, at least. The rest, junk. Stay away.
