    It works very well. Toasts bread just fine, muffins too. I like how you can adjust the time by using the slider. Also I like the layout of the selector for what you are toasting. I also like how you can raise the lever to get small muffins out without burning you fingers.

    When I ordered this toaster I wasn’t sure if I could read the face of it as I have Macular. I was trying to find something with big letters. I can’t see it without help but everying is in a good place so I can memorizewhere things are. It works great. Because of my eyes I had a hard time finding the clean out tray as the booklet didn’t have a picture so was aafraid to use it until I found that part.

    Pretty good toaster as far as toaster go today. Nothing seems to be as good as the old ones! This one feels on the cheap side but toasts pretty evenly and has a lot of settings. It looks great on my counter with the rest of my stainless appliances.

    Haven’t purchased a toaster in years because of relying on our microwave for most foods.
    Recently developed a liking for Ego Thick & Fluffy Waffles and decided it was time for a new wider capacity Toaster and this Cuisinart has been perfect! Love the stainless look and how well built. It’s simple to use and especially like the defrost feature and how even sided it toasts everything.

    It’s sleek and nice looking. 4 stars because when you pull the lever down, it makes a loud noise that you wouldn’t expect. It ruins the asthetic… but it has lessened with time. I am still getting used to all the settings. I don’t see a difference with using the regular verses the English muffin one? I just wanted a good looking toaster that toasts my bread nicely and it does that!

    If you set it higher then number 3, then it starts to burn the bread. It also does not toast evenly. This is what happens when companies send the work overseas and we end up buying inferior products.

    ok for a toaster. a little flimsy at first but has good footing. My complaint is the toaster is so quiet you don’t hear the toast pop up. So, you all of a sudden notice the toast is done but no clue on how long. sounds petty but when you are cooking it is nice to know it’s time to butter the toast.

    Wonderful toaster. Reading the instructions really helped to know what darkness level to use. The controls are plastic, but they don’t seem to be flimsy. Our last 2 toasters’ push down lever was flimsy and didn’t always work. This one easily clicks into place. I like that the toaster is mostly metal. I looks great, and easy to care for.

    Expected more from this toaster. It’s quality of toasting is hit and miss. There is lack of perfection on the inside with the thermo filaments, which makes for imperfect and uneven toasting. The options are not very different either. Very often you have to be careful not to burn your slices, especially if they are even slightly “bent”. Toasting slices of different thinckness on both sides often leads to burnt toast. We have a few occasions to deal with fire alarm because of that uneven toasting.
    We threw away many years old Hamilton toaster with similar stainless steal feel to get this one. The Hamilton was almost perfect and lasted a long time. If the Hamilton was a Ferrari, this is a Toyota.

    It works ok, nice having options for toasting & it takes many thick bagels, buns & longer slices of bread, one slice didn’t work right out of the box both sides are on regardless if one slice is selected -minus a star
