    This drive is actually native USB-C but includes an adapter for USB-3. I’m using it to host Linux in a dual boot mode with Windows and the performance is excellent! Boot to Internet is about 40 seconds which is on par with my Windows boot running on the primary laptop SSD.

    It is fine for short reads and writes, but initially when I transferred 450 MB to this drive, it slowed down considerably as I transferred the data. It seems fine now that I have transferred my files. I was getting nervous during the transfer as it was so slow!

    I bought this to record directly to in ProRes. It performs very well and allows up to 72 minutes of ProRes footage. For the price, I’d highly recommend.

    Best External Storage I had I used for large files. Like videos or back ups. and the best part the speed and size.

    It worked for the 3weeks with no problems. Then all of a sudden it stopped working with my computer and it can’t be read. It’s not detectable and I have a bunch of games on there so now I have to go buy a whole new one. I don’t recommend this to anyone unless you want to buy a new one after 3 weeks.

    You buy what you pay for. It may be more expensive but then it is a better product then external hard drives.

    The drive is very compact and has a great capacity. I haven’t picked up any big storage devices lately and this is much smaller than any of my old portable flash drives. The USB C interface is fast and the USB 3.2 A adapter plug works great. It is the perfect solution for holding installation files and drive images.
