    After the Crisis Core movie, Square Enix decided to introduce this game on the PSP. Fast forward, beloved Final Fantasy 7 fans get a chance get to play this before Rebirth comes out. All I can say is out of every Final Fantasy games, only Final Fantasy 7 has made an impact to every JRPG fans.

    Everyone who plays this needs to remember that this is a PSP game. The level designs, gameplay, story, everything was designed for handheld gaming in mind.

    That being said, this game is good. Not great. But good and is priced as such. If you’re a fan of the FF7 world, this wouldn’t a bad game to try out.

    The story has major spoilers to the original FF7 game and the Remake trilogy. It’s advised to only play Crisis Core once you know the FF7 story.

    It’s exactly what the original was, just updated. If you played and enjoyed the original, you won’t be disappointed. If you didn’t play it on PSP and want to experience it, this is a great buy. Nothing new, no surprises.

    For nostalgia it’s a huge win! If you’re an ff7 fan it’s a solid tell of the classic story of Zack. It is a remake of the psp game with some extra stuff. I think the port graphics could have been better considering the A list price tag

    The mechanics really was ps2-esque, which made sense why it was so linear but it was still fun! The story was amazing. Got you to understand why people fell in love in Zack more than Cloud. Playing it for the first time and having Rebirth less than two months away makes me really prepared for the game.

    Super fun and easy to play as a casual gamer. The story revolves around whether soldiers are monsters or heroes. The ending is bittersweet, but great game overall.

    Crazy that this story was essentially told as a missable scene in the og FF7 and fleshed out in a way that fits so well into the canon. The battle system and materia fusion system are a unique spin on the original system. See some classic faces and excited to see them as they continue the FF7 remake trilogy.
