Great CPU cooler for the price point. Gets the job done!
Luis –
Great fan for the price. Easy to install and cools great.
user658971 –
Easy installation with top notch aesthetics. Fan noise is almost zero on idle.

Super reputable company, this was a relatively simple install in comparison to the leading brands. This is a very effective cooling solution that isn’t hard on the wallet, and has been for over a decade! Pairing this with another brand proprietary fan would be absolute overkill. I went from roughly 40-50c at idle on a 5600x to about 30c at idle and maximum of 65c while gaming and such. However it’s going to get 4 out 5 stars for one reason: the mounting process & the difficulty reading the manual. There are parts that look extremely similar to one another (especially in grayscale) that makes it hard to understand how to assemble specific configuration for your chipset. I mitigated this by watching a YouTube tutorial that allowed me to see the parts in the manual in higher definition and with more contextual angles than the manual provides. Once it seemed like how my configuration and the manuals matched it was time to mount. This is the most strenuous part of the entire process, much more than assembling the mounting brackets and such. The reason is the placement of the screws force you to remove the fan from the heatsink tighten your mount onto your motherboard and then put the fan back on the now mounted heatsink. The reason for this is because two of the 4 screws are directly below the fan and it’s recommended you screw the mount in progressing around your mount until each screw is tight. This would be easy if they provided some sort of tool that lets you tighten the screws from such a crazy angle but that would probably cut into the costs of manufacturing. The clips that fix the fans onto the heatsink need to be clipped in the exact position they where in when you opened the box or the fan will be either too high or too low with very little clearance for your memory. Other than that, they provide a plethora of solutions as well as included thermal compound, brackets and mount configurations and an extra power cable for two fans. I would for sure recommend this as its a great solution but the process of installation could use some aid.

Honestly for the price? Rather functional. I wouldn’t have it as a first pick but it was at the store and not terribly expensive, a definitively 4 star item. Would recommend if it is at your local store and you have a low budget while also needing it now.
Goodlaptop –
Works great, easy to use. I was worried that I wouldnt be able to install it. It had nice instructions.
sjenner –
Great for a fan cooler and a budget build. Much better than a stock cpu fan.
EduardoF –
This is the perfect cooler master for my pc omen 30l work perfect i did it by my self and and work so good im in love how my pc look now
LoganG –
Performance. This cooler will take anything you throw at it I’ve had this for a year now and must say this is the only cooler that’s belongs on my cpu, temps idle stay at a cool 32c while under stress go to a max of 53c
saofan –
runs amazing and very quiet even on max setting with ray tracing
FlynJ –
This is my favorite air cooler. It works well, it’s not expensive, and it doesn’t have RGB. I’m not a fan. If you are, they have a version that has that as well. I just prefer to have no extra lights. Works well, cools well. Always purchase a Hyper 212 for my builds.
DavidV –
My PC is 4 feet from my head and i cant hear it. Went into bios to make it twice as sensitive to heat, still cant hear it.
HolidayMagic –
Little fan gets the job done. Im not over clocking so it holds its own as a fan should !
AustinD –
item works great, instructions are clear and easy. it comes with thermal paste, so don’t do the thing i did and buy a tube.
Chris –
Works well just large! Did a great job at keeping my cpu cool.
Flores –
Computer stays really cool and runs not loud overall very good
SamanthaN –
Great product very quiet barely know the computers on.
Benny –
I still use this cooler to this day. Since the day I got it, I slapped it on and never looked back
Marco –
Cheap but works very well. Cant find anything better for the price.
RobertN –
will cool your cpu for having a pretty aggressive over clock.
user147071 –
Great easy to install my first time doing a cup fan change and took me about 35 min to do it with having to swap brackets
Justin –
It was a little difficult to install since its universal for intel and AMD there could have been a better designed mounting bracket
DavidM –
Works great for Ryzen 7 5800x. Keeps it cool under load and very quiet for such a hot processor. Installation was easy with the included instructions.
ForrestR –
Runs quiet but is a bit of a pain getting clips to lock in on both sides if you remove the fan or it falls off the heatsink. Works with AM5 socket but is not RGB fan so not sure why it was being sold as such. i can still freely move the ram from all slots on mobo(MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk) if choose to add more later.
Never had liquid cooler so cannot compare how temps are kept in control. Idle temp is around 35c and with playing starfield on mid-setting runs about 50c. I only have two stock fans in system from when bought tower a few years back so do not know size but think they’re 120mm.
Mdrew –
Decent cooler for the price but better value to be had elsewhere. Hate the design used to install fan(s) if this is not a fresh install on a new PC build beware… it is hard to get the clips to line up in place.
ScottW –
I’m so impressed with the quality and consistency of the product and am grateful for the longevity this product provides for extending the life of my computer.
user209525 –
WORKS GREAT LOVIN THE NEW BUILD. GOT IT ON SALE. LOOOOVE IT
Mik23 –
The cooler was a nice step up from the stock intel cool
CodyMCO –
Decent cheap little cooler. I use it to test CPUs before install.
BigIkeDiesel –
It’s quiet and cooled my 5600x so it no longer thermally throttled. Switched to a 5800x3D and it cools this CPU very well also.
Brayden –
It cools very well for the price and looks a lot better than the original hyper 212
toransaccount –
Third one I’ve bought, never had a single issue. 10/10
Connor –
Does the job. Upgraded from hyper 212 evo I got in 2013. The metal clips are a little weird, I’m not a fan of those as they are not guaranteed safety and kind of annoying to clip on
Rivers87 –
Great basic fan to get the most out of cooling and is super quiet!
GerardT –
I wanted to upgrade from the stock CPU Cooler but didn’t really want to deal with AIO coolers as it isn’t a heavy duty computer. Keeps my ryzen CPU cooler than stock and runs games just fine without throttling. Always been a go to cooler and still running strong after a year
CedricC –
It works a lot better than the stock cooler that came with my i5
NickK –
Great cooler. Easy to install. Super affordable. Recommend adding a second fan.
AdrianF –
Haven’t had any overheating issues, doesn’t get loud, not sure if its because my system isn’t being pushed too heavily or the cooler just cooling. I play farming sims and high graphics 2077
ChristopherP –
I recently upgraded my CPU cooling solution to the Cooler Master Hyper 212 RGB Black Edition, and it has been nothing short of impressive. The sleek jet black design not only adds a touch of style to my rig but also delivers exceptional cooling performance.
Installation was a breeze, thanks to the user-friendly design and clear instructions. The 120mm fan efficiently dissipates heat, keeping my CPU at optimal temperatures even during intense gaming sessions or resource-heavy tasks. The RGB lighting adds a vibrant and customizable touch, allowing me to match it seamlessly with the rest of my setup.
What stands out is the near-silent operation. The Hyper 212 RGB Black Edition manages to keep temperatures low without sacrificing peace and quiet. Whether I’m working or gaming, I can focus without being distracted by fan noise.
Overall, the Cooler Master Hyper 212 RGB Black Edition combines style and substance. It’s a reliable and visually appealing cooling solution that enhances both the aesthetics and performance of any system. I highly recommend it to fellow enthusiasts looking for an excellent CPU cooling fan.
CobyA –
Works perfect and keeps my cpu pretty cool even under heavy games
MATYTY5 –
Made my computer go from sounding like a jet turbine engine that was failing half the time to silence.
beachboychris –
worked great just returned to go with aio 240 for my i7 13700k
Michael –
used it for a week then got a radiator lol. isnt bad.
JoseF –
It works great but the fans on the cooler aren’t user friendly. Once they are on it works great
Jamill –
was really east to put together, the instruction was straight foward and only took me like 10 min
Seal –
Works like it should keeping my CPU cool while running intense loads
DevinR –
This cpu cooler has a good size heat sink, good fan size, and does not block all 4 ram card slots
AndrewV –
Does its job well. Comes with everything needed to install.
Wayneterry –
Building a pc on a budget this is a great option for the cost!
Niko –
Very nice heavy duty heat sink that works with my new 14th gen intel i7 cpu no problem. The version with the lights is much lighter so spend the extra 15 bucks.
