Great game to add to the collection. Love the suspense and graphic of this game. Awesome deal to also use the Best buy Plus membership. Highly recommend to get it.

I picked up Clive N’ Wrench because it seemed like a nice throwback to the 3D platformers of the 1990’s. Upon playing it though, I found a terrible game that would have been frowned upon even back then.
Poor camera movement will leave you disoriented, slippery controls will have you swearing as you try and fail again and again to leap onto a platform, and quite possibly the worst swimming mechanics I have ever experienced. The graphics, which would have been impressive as a launch title for the Dreamcast, are awkward, stiff, and ugly, and prone to glitching constantly, as objects bounce around without reason, often freezing in mid-air. Boss fights are miserable, glitch-filled experiences, only ending when a loading screen awkwardly pops up in the middle of the action. About the only thing the game manages to get somewhat right is the music, though even that becomes grating after a while.
If you’re looking for a 90’s inspired 3D collect-a-thon platformer that doesn’t star a certain mustachioed plumber, check out New Super Lucky’s Tale instead. Send Clive and Wrench back to the 90’s where it belongs.
Cons: Poor camera, terrible controls, boring level design, charmless characters, glitchy performance, even after installing the latest patch.
Pros: Um… It’s better than Balan Wonderworld, though that’s not saying much.

While obviously not a high budgeted game like Mario or Sonics the overall quality is still pretty amazing and fun to play through. This game went under the radar it feels like and one that should have been given more love and praise then it actually got. Anyways for the price and overall entertainment value it’s well worth adding to a switch owners game collection.
