    Love everything about this iron. I sell vintage/antique clothing and a quality iron is a necessity to keep clothing looking good. Nice weight to it and no spots on fabric from steam use. Really easy to navigate across silk georgette as well as heavy wool tweeds.

    I had the older version of chi but I like this one more better because of the cord . It does not get tangled because it rolls up inside and worlds great you wouldn’t need to wrap around the iron or risk getting burned.

    I like the iron. My only concern is the size of it due to the retractable cord. Other than that, the iron is great. I am a quilter and a seamstress and it works wonders when ironing.

    Very pricey, but we’ll worth the cost. It’s solidly built and feels centered in my hand when ironing. Steam and sprayer are great! No leaks, so far.

    We purchased this Chi iron and expected it to be great. In ironing a shirt that the dry cleaners had stuck a small ID label onto, the glue from the label adhered to the soleplate of the iron. We followed the directions in the printed user guide to steam it off but that had no effect. When we contacted Customer Support, they refused to help with this simple question because the credit card transaction receipt we sent them did not break out their product, which they easily could have confirmed with the store. So we went online and found suggestions for using mild, NON-abrasive solutions to wash the glue off. That resulted in stripping the ceramic surface! What a piece of junk, and Chi’s Customer Support is awful.

    I’ve gone through a few irons.. different brands.. every time I’d purchase one the first thing to disappoint was the way it felt when using it. THIS ONE I knew was the one the moment I took it out of the box! It’s heavy but so sturdy. Easy to use. Heats up quickly. Love the amount of steam it releases and how beautiful it irons!! Must have! Don’t look any further just grab this one!!

    It gets the job done but does not steam or heat as it claims to do. It takes a while to iron a dress shirt and usually does not get all the wrinkles out even at the highest setting. For the price and brand, I would have expected a better quality iron. The reason I gave two stars was for the beautiful appearance of the iron and it’s retractable cord.

    The plate has chipoed off amd damaged a shirt. All this black melt on my shirt. I liked the iron but the plate isnt that resistant

    When the iron works it gets hotter than any iron I’ve purchased, but it will melt garments. The ironing plate also sticks easily. I’ve had this iron replaced twice because it died for no apparent reason. After the second iron I decided to try another brand.

    Good iron it’s expensive and operating well. Negative points of this item, it does not have a turn on/off switch also does not turn off automatically not safe for me and those who have small children!
