    I wasted my money, we were never able to make it work and I was not able to return due to 30days return policy (I bought it for Christmas) and by the time my daughter opened it, it passed the 30days. She tried to make it work for months, and honestly your phone does a better job than this telescope.

    Great scope for beginners. The instructions that come with it are really good and will get you started fast. The app that comes with it is a bit inconsistent, but once you get it working, it’s useful to find objects

    This telescope was not what was advertised. It had missimg parts and didn’t even work. Not worth the money.

    Putting the telescope together was very easy. It only took a couple minutes. The most difficult part was linking the smartphone camera with the telescope, and there are plenty of video tutorials online on how to get it done. We love this telescope as people who just get a kick out of looking at the moon and stars. The lightweight nature of the telescope means it is easy to cart out of a field. It does not give you a bunch of detail on distant planets, but it is very worth what you pay.

    Great starter telescope. Could easily see stars and planets BUT it takes getting used to and a steady hand to find things in the night sky! Alignment tool is absolutely useless though. Just find things manually and you’ll be fine and can atleast experience something.

    It is hard to set up the finder and i still have trouble with it. But when you actually find what you are looking for the view is amazing!

Takes some time to get the focusing done and you definitely need to follow the directions to have a clear image of what it is you’re looking at! The quality is great as we could visibly see each and every crater on the moon! I highly recommend this as a gift for a great starter telescope!

    First I will say this was a gift to my son for Christmas. The item was shipped straight in the box that this item comes in , once I received it the corners were crushed and the bottom of the box was opened, I took photos , I immediately called bb to speak to a unprofessional cs girl that didn’t speak clear English so this was fun ,I finally understood that since bb didn’t have anymore in stock if I brought the item back to the store I would have to pay a restocking fee . I said like hell I will
    Since this item was delivered to my son that lives3 hrs away idk if he has checked it out yet. Once I find out I will post again . I also don’t get why you would ship such a fragile item in the box that lenses and breakable things come in . I wish I would of checked in a case before ordering also
    BB don’t even offer a case for this item
    I guess they expect the mangled box to hold up forever .

    Ordered this telescope as a Christmas present for our up-and-coming astronomer. The alignment process was quick and easy, allowing us to try it out on the first clear night. We were impressed with the reach of the telescope, being able to see the craters of the moon up close. I will say, take it seriously when the instructions tell you that even the smallest misalignment when initially aligning the telescope with the included app will impact the accuracy when using the app to help point out the wonders of the night sky – ours was a bit off initially. The moon was still easy to find, but things further away from earth, i.e. Jupiter, Venus, were harder to track down with the slight misalignment. *The misalignment was a user error, and had nothing to do with the telescope itself.* We realigned it the next morning – which takes less than 5 minutes after you’ve been through that process before – and we were back to viewing with better app accuracy the next night. All in all a great telescope, with great quality of viewing. Easy to assemble, and compact enough to leave fully assembled. 100% would recommend.

    This telescope claims to be easy to use and says that it magnifies to a degree that I feel it does not. It is not convenient to use and I would not recommend this. I bought it as a gift for my daughter thinking it would be a fun time. We have tried to use it multiple times and it just plain does not focus, we’ve changed out the magnifiers and watched YouTube videos on how to properly work it although nothing has came up that shows how it actually works! I would definitely look into other telescopes first
