    Can’t rate it before using, but not happy the the Quick Setup Guide that was supposed to be in the box is not. No instructions whatsoever. Going to search online.

    I have zero experience with a telescope. It is amazing how accurate the StarSense app is and how easy find things in the sky. Truly exceptional and really got my kid interested in astronomy.

    Was great until I got a newer phone, then not supported. The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is not currently supported. The smartphone support was the only reason I spent what I did on this particular telescope, and now it doesn’t work.

    Great telescope. It’s pretty clear looking at the moon and star clusters. The app is great too. Makes it much easier to find things that I’d like to view. Would recommend to anyone not wanting to spend over a thousand for a good scope and still get a good quality scope.

    If I can give a zero I would or maybe the one I received is just that bad. First of all there is ONLY one clamp screw that is holding the telescope to the tripod. 2nd of all and the biggest upset is when I tried to focus the finder, I saw nothing through the eyepieces. The night that I took it out was clear sky. The moon was shinning brightly and stars were everywhere. When I tried to look at the moon, the apps told me to turn the scope like away from the moon. I even pointed the scope back to the moon and tried to focus the finders but saw nothing through the eyepiece. Taking this garbage back to Best Buy. If they can’t fix it then I want my refund. I’m not trading $500 for a piece of garbage.

    This is a nice beginner telescope. It’s a bit difficult to use with the phone app, but once you get the laser sited in, you can use that. It was fairly easy to assemble.

    Great telescope my son and I had a ton of fun looking through the sky. Would precede better lenses but after we purchased a few upgraded ones it made viewing very pleasurable. Was missing parts and still awaiting them. Customer service for Celeste on is also terribly slow process.

    Really cool telescope. The app is a little tricky at times but once you have it all dialed in right you can find what you are looking for in minutes. First night i used it i observed jupiter and its rings with the lenses provided with it. It is upgradable with better lense combos. Recommend a step stool for shorter people.

    Just came in missing the sheet, and with bent screws. Except theres also a little black dot that appears regardless of me cleaning it to make sure that absolutely nothing was on the mirrors.

    This is a pretty decent telescope for novice. I bought this for my wife because she likes to look at the moon and stars. You can see great details on the Moon. And some planets if you zero it in good. Only wish it came with some color filters to view more details of the moon and some planets. For the price to get into this hobby and to show enthusiasm once you get to see strong details of objects is well worth it. 1 star deducted just for the sturdyness when viewin things. Kinda wobbly when you’re trying to get it focused.

    The actual telescope is a fine starter option, and smart sense is awesome. The porblem comes down to the tripod, it is so wobbly that it is almost impossible to properly view anything. I would go with a donsonian mount for better experiences.

    The telescope has some positive sides, but all in all felt like a hobby killer as the adjusters were frustratingly springy, and the base was unsteady. I changed gears and got an 8 inch dobsonian instead and have been much happier

    Got this for my wife for Christmas and just wow! We live in the city and have lots of light pollution yet this telescope was able to clearly filter past that and we are enjoying looking at stars we can’t even see with the naked eye.

    We love our new Celestron Star Sense Explorer DX 130MM telescope! It was incredibly easy to assemble, and set up. The app was also very easy to install and launch. It took us about a half an hour to get our telescooe sighted in and app launched. We were immediately able to successfully star gaze!!

Bought it for my daughter and she was able to quickly get it setup and started stargazing within 15 min once it was assembled. Assembly took about 20 min. Photo of the moon was taken with an iPhone through the lens eye piece. Such a great purchase.

    The quality overall isnt too bad but i feel it could use some improvement. Also it really isnt as simple to figure out how to work the app and telescope its self. Wish there was some sort of carrying cade for ease as well.
