I bought a tri pod to make a little easier to handle

Bought for gift and they really like it and you see more than just one thing. It also is neat looking at the moon and seeing so much.

Being able to use both eyes makes this binocular easier to use than a telescope, especially for kids. The 15 power and 70mm objective gives large bright images. With the included tripod mount it is easier to use than most small telescopes. The low price is also a bonus.

Very pleased with the quality for a very low price. They are very large and heavy, so a tripod is a must.

This was an anniversary present for my husband. He likes them very much. I find that they are heavy but he doesn’t seem to mind.

I bought for my husband for Father’s day. It was great we can see all the craters very clear. Fits perfect with my camera tripod

I think that those binoculars are the best I ever had, you will see the moon very clear!!!

These work amazingly well. very easy to use no issues. Would recommend to others.

Very good, high quality binoculars that are perfect for looking at the moon and planets. Much more practical than a telescope and with some help, good for the kids too. I use them a bit for bird watching as well, but naturally they are a bit heavy for longer term use. For the price, you will have a hard time finding anything better than these.

The binoculars were bought for a Christmas present

I am an astronomy buff and generally agree that binoculars are far more useful to novices and than a single eyepiece telescope. Celestron and Meade have the best mainstream brand reputation, but this set of binoculars we ordered had misaligned optics (sharp in one, unfocused in the other, or vice versa). These are also rather heavy and difficult to hold steady – I wonder if an even lighter, simpler set of binoculars would be better for most basic functions (looking at the moon, meteor showers, planets, etc.)

Bought it to look at the stars and It did not disappoint. Brings them so close. Very happy.

A little too powerful hence the connector for a tripod. Othwise excellent for sky gazing.
Jason –
Great for bird watching or checking out the scenery. Not too sure about seeing the moon or beyond, though.

I expected more from Celestron. They were difficult to adjust to clarity, and I had hoped to see more once they were adjusted.
Chad –
Clear and crisp images with the 15x magnification. Great product for the price.

I look at the moon and stars and use it for bird watching

great to start seeing the night sky and start in the world of astronomy

They work very well for looking at night sky. The only problem i had…there clumsy…a little heavy if using for a long time…i purchased a 72 ” tripod…special for binoculars…makes a huge difference..more enjoyable.

Celestron is the leader in star gazing technology so its only natural they would develop a high quality reasonable priced line of astronomical binoculars. The 15 x 70 is no exception and works very well in double duty as a spotting device. Low cost sleek style and easy to used adjustments make this binocular a real bargain.

After reading many reviews, I specifically choose these binoculars so that I could observe the night sky. They worked so well that I purchased a telescope and use the binoculars to star hop and then focus the telescope on interesting parts of the sky. I have also used the binoculars for terrestrial viewing, especially perched birds such as hawks.

Good binoculars at a good price . I like using binoculars over telescopes in the colder weather . They are quicker and easier to set up than a telescope.
