    This could be a game of the year Contender and Harkens back to the best metroidvania style Platformers ever made if you have a switch or a Vita this is a must-have

    If you’re into platforming games and like working your eye hand coordination, this is a really fun and challenging game.

    Lot of the reviews you will find online for this title are spot on. It is hard to put down and very difficult to master. Celeste tracks your total number of deaths, and despite being a seasoned platformer I was surprised how quick my total hit 1,000 (and it is still climbing!). The game is still fun though as you learn fast with each failure and want to keep pressing on. There is also an assist mode for players who are not quite getting that next jump.

    I bought this game because i wanted to break away from the modern Games i usually play Its a very simple yet complicated platformer. Celeste was highly reviewed or recommended in 2018 i believe and when i found out it was on the switch i thought hey i can check this game out and on the go
    Ive given it 4 stars just because i haven’t passed it but ill get there 🙂

    Celeste is a great game. The graphics are awesome the gameplay feels fluid and the story is great. I immediately fell in love with this game because of how fun it was and beat it it about 11 days time. This game is now one of my favorites and I look forward to playing it a second time. The only thing I personally think was bad was that in order to access the final stage you need to collect four hearts which you get by completing b-sides and I had no clue the hearts existed until the end of the game and while a small hiccup I still must remove a star for it.

    Celeste is one of the most challenging games you will ever play, period. However, the challenge never feels unfair. You’ll feel compelled to try again until you get it, and the sense of accomplishment upon finishing a challenging level is something few games can boast. The story is far deeper than most games, let alone indie games, touching on themes of depression and existentialism. A must play for any gamer.

    This game came highly recommended, and after playing for a while, I can see why. This is, like a few types of games on the Switch, a simple and simply constructed game. Or so you initially find. After a little while, you get sucked in, and find yourself playing continuously even though the game can be really tough. You’ll struggle, like the character, but you will enjoy the whole thing.

    More than worth the price. Phenomenal, responsive controls, clever level design, and a surprisingly impactful story. I’ve spent hours and hours with this, and the difficulty curve really good for any experienced game player. I think anyone can get through the story, but the extra levels will *really* test you. Great game.

    Finished this game in a couple days and got hooked when I started it. The controls are easy to learn and there is a lot you can do with the movement options given. Be prepared to die a lot of times but in the end it is worth it. The story is actually good too and it is fun to play.

    If you’re even a slight fan of platforming games like Mario or Meatboy, you need to pick this up. Best-feeling movement of any game I’ve played, amazingly positive tone, and the underlying story about mental health is something more people should experience. Can’t recommend this game enough on any platform!

    If you’re ever looking for a great platforming experience (albeit a bit difficult), then this one should be on the top of your list.

    Despite its simple mechanics, Celeste manages to achieve and execute so many things right. Great soundtrack, great replay value, solid story, and solid presentation. It’s no exaggeration for me to say this is one of the best games I’ve played in a while.

    The only reason why I would hold it off is to wait for a sale, as this game goes on sale quite often.
