Have friends who brew coffee every morning except for the days their fancy grinder with electronics dies. They buy a different brand but go through the same problem annually, seems like.
This grinder has a simple mechanical timer on the front, makes in cups. I make cold brew twice a week. Weigh out 100 grams of beans for a liter of water and it consistently meets the nine cup setting. Now I just run nine cups worth.
Only trick is if you twist the clear bin all the way until it stops, you have disabled the motor as a safety feature. Back it off a bit and it works,
Love this. Its a conical grinder and it’s not jarringly loud.
Don’t get the fancy complicated ones or you’ll be driving to Starbucks wearing a bathrobe when it breaks.

We wore out our first grinder, an earlier version of this one. This new model is sturdier, seems more powerful and is easier to clean. It’s also a bit quieter. Not cheap, but great for the constant coffee drinker.

Does the job but you have be very careful when cleaning and reassembling. The parts are not very sturdy. Plastic breaks easily.

A burr grinder was recommended when our blade grinder started wearing out. After researching them we settled on the Capresso Infinity. It was a great choice. The same coffee tastes so much different and smoother. Would definitely recommend.

This coffee grinder is an excellent choice. It has ample settings for the type of coffee desired. It is not noisy like some of the grinders. While there are cheaper machines, this one seems to be of better quality. I can’t speak to its durability because I recently acquired it.

The timer/cups takes some manual adjustment – it seems more like an estimate rather than something exact.

Overall you will not be disappointed with this. If you’re on the fence, just get it. Grind consistency is much better than other models I’ve seen at this price point. Cannot vouch for espresso but the largest grind on extra fine is perfect for my pour over timing. Only complaint is if you weigh your beans there is some retention, especially when it’s first used. This then causes cleaning to be a little troublesome and beans to wasted if you overcompensate for retention. But at least it comes with a brush! I must say this is very typical for all machines of this design so don’t knock it too much for retention/cleaning. The grind is GREAT.
