    Having this remote control for my Canon DSLR has been very convenient for me. I didn’t have to run back and forth anymore from where the camera was sitting and to where my family and I were posing when taking family pictures. The only con is that you must really point the remote to the DSLR camera sensor in order for it to really work. Sometimes I find myself pushing the remote control button many times until the camera clicks to take a picture. The remote control comes with a small case too for protection so I think that is really sweet! Plus, I got this remote control on sale so that is cool too! Thanks Best Buy! It comes with a cell battery which I hope will last long. This, I will find out later on.

    I have a rebel T5i and needed to do some large family photos and this remote saved a lot of time running back and forth to reset the photo timer.

    This works great with my t5i. Connects well and has good range. The trick to having the battery not die on you is keep pressure off the button while its in your bag.

    I bought this without doing my research. Long story short, it doesn’t work for my camera model specifically. That is no one’s fault but my own for not realizing that. I’m sure the product works fine otherwise.

    This didn’t work for my Canon SL3 or T6i (it should’ve). It seemed like nice quality, but was very basic. I ended up needing to return it since it didn’t work for me.

    This is the original remote offered by Canon. Stay away from the aftermarket ones you’ll find on eBay that are very hit or miss. Easy setup and it works!!!

    I used this on a Canon Rebel T5i DSLR camera for starting and stopping video recording. Check YouTube for setup videos.

    So there are other remotes compatible, but many reviews I’ve read someone purchased a more inexpensive off-brand, then it didn’t work properly & ended up purchasing the Canon brand anyway. So save yourself some time, some money & enjoy less camera shake with this beautiful little guy. I absolutely love mine & haven’t had any problems with my remote!

    Connects well with my Canon 80D camera. The instructions don’t help, so you’ll have to do a Google search of connecting your camera to this remote

    This is an ir remote, keep that in mind. On my Canon Rebel T3i it had to be in front of the camera to work.

    It was nice that it came with a case and the case mount. On the neck strap I like that it can that a picture right a way or you can switch for it to take a picture two second later

    What a great little add on for your camera kit! My wife has been using this to take pictures of birds at her feeder. She has the camera zoomed in and just waits until she sees one she really likes, and presto, pushes the button…doesn’t even get up from her chair!

    Alright this review is coming a little late. I bought it two years ago and never even took it out of the box. Decided to set it up for family photos and it does not work. With the T7i you have to disable the wifi and bluetooth settings and then select the remote setting in the drive mode. Which I did, even put a new battery in it. It doesn’t work. No activation with the camera. Super disappointing. and of course waaaaay outside the return window despite having just opened it.
