    I got this as a spare battery for my canon R8 camera. Works just fine. Last about two days during my trip which I used my camera to capture about 200-300 pictures a day.

    It works better then the replacement brand. Last longer and charges pretty fast.

    This battery is as good as the original one that came with the camera, well it has to be. It charges rapidly and also lasts long enough to attend a full event of almost continuous shooting. It is a little expensive, though, but it is definitely a must if you don’t want to run out of juice when most required.

    Hate that our media team had to keep up with LP-E6 and now these E-17 batteries, but Best Buy had a great deal on them and they offer a long shooting time. In my experience, it’s better to spend the money on a Canon brand battery… we’ve been in the middle of a production/shoot and other brands went dead–even though showing full charge.

    We bought this for an extra battery to have on a trip. I worked great. Tried to buy a cheaper one on Amazon but when we received the battery it stated they were not responsible for any damage it might do to the camera. We decided to buy the cannon battery from Best Buy was the way to go, It was cheaper than getting a new camera fixed or replaced.

    Yes, 3rd party batteries are cheaper, but in my experience, it’s worth the extra couple dollars to buy the camera brand’s batteries!!
