This does print easily from my phone and laptop HOWEVER for being such a basic printer it’s expensive. Like no scanning, no copying. You also have to use canon ink, whereas my old canon I could use a wonderful “store brand”.

I am having difficulty finding canon printers (over the last 30 years, my preferred printer) because it has individual toner cartidges – I can print on both sides of paper, I can print on extra thick cardstock, it’s wireless, and easy to set up.

Once this printer was setup it has worked fine. The wireless setup was slow and time consuming. Some of the problem is with the display, It is small, not backlite and hard to see to enter commands. Not sure why Canon is using a display that appears to be very old technology in this price range. I bought this as a spare printer and because it uses the same ink cartridges as my Pixma TS6220, which at the time cost less than the TS702a and now doesn’t seem to be available. Canon seems to be going down hill and in the future will be looking at different printer brands to purchase.

Good deal for the price. But it randomly chooses to pull paper from cassette and back tray, and I haven’t been able to find a setting to direct it to one or the other. Ink empties almost immediately and it’s hard to read the little screen. Materials also seem fragile. A rare printer-only option without copy or scan functions, which makes it small and light.

So far so good. Reasonably easy to set up. I tested it with two photos of my dog and cat on regular paper. They came out really nice. I wonder how long the ink will last, I don’t usually print pictures. The app, once you learn it isn’t bad. For the price it’s a great printer as long as it lasts a few years now.

Absolute headache. Wish I would’ve returned it during the window since it was causing issues since the moment we set it up. Screen SUCKS, like everyone else says.. you basically need a flashlight to see what the lcd screen says. There’s ALWAYS an error message. Can’t print from rear, only when the printer feels like it. We’ve “put up with it” for a couple months now, but I’m throwing it out the window and getting an HP printer today because it’s beyond frustrating to try and print one simple page or form. Never again with Canon.
