Devo –
Great printer for everyday home use. The only downside is the feeding tray is limited on the paper size.

For Canon, even for the low end, this is garbage. It has no idle status and you have to click it on if you want to use it, otherwise your printer spooler screws up and it’ll print nothing. All you can do is restart your computer because stopping/starting/refreshing/restarting the printer spooler will do nothing.
Nikk –
Tried different brands, gotta say this is my favorite. Easy to use, prints nice pages it’s just really nice I am really happy with it.

I am a fairly tech-savvy user who has been using this type of printer for decades at home and work. I have had this printer for about a year now and I have to resist the urge to throw it out the window every time I need to use it. This thing has the worst user interface I have ever seen. Also, it typically takes three to four tries to get the scan function to work without an error. To top it all off all the color inks are in the same cartridge so I spend more on ink now than I did with my previous printer that had individual color cartridges.

Great product, easy hook up and easy replacement cartridges.

I got this after buying an HP and I will never go back. Unlike HP the app actually works and connected to my Wi-Fi on the first try. It is a little annoying that it turns off after not being used for a little while, but I’m sure I can disable that setting and I only print something like once a month so it’s not that big of a deal as it only takes maybe 20 to 30 seconds to boot up and be ready for printing.
Lionsfan48 –
Excellent printer and will print everything that we want, pictures, both sides of paper and was easy to connect to our wireless device’s!!
Soundwasher –
This was an under 100 bucks replacement for a damaged print head. Bad points are the screen is tiny, the factory setting printed horrible photos, and all the corrective settings are put deep under many layers of selections. After a hour of frustration, I reset everything to work properly, and now it prints very nicely and well with the price. The initial color cartridge only has a minute amount of ink, so you must find a source of affordable color ink the first week. New printers are constantly asking you if you want to push the button and auto order ink at extremely high prices, or get involved with a free ink plan with charges per page on to perpetuity in a use scam.
Even buying the ink from refilled is fairly pricey, but still affordable. All systems function well, but the more expensive models are more user friendly across the board. This unit does not print photos with the finest detail and color spectrum, but it is pretty good if your not a nitpicker.

So happy that I purchased this Canon Printer,
Totally easy to install and its prints docs beautifully.
You will not be disappointed.
Braines –
This printer is probably the easiest printer setup proccess I’ve ever went through. It really feels like a quality product and i don’t regret spending the extra bit of money at all.
JoseG –
Very good printer, it was easy to set it up and to use.
Pollynyc –
This is an upgrade to my previous Canon Pixma and is very good – it was a bit temperamental to sync with the p.c., but once I did, all is well.
CharlesC –
Very easy to use and does everything I wanted . Copies photos black and color . Prints documents from my iPad and iPhone .
NaNa –
The colors aren’t real good as my previous printer
Tippin –
Very pleased with this printer. Scans documents flawlessly, document and picture quality is outstanding. Only complaint is that it is a little on the noisy side.
Sunshinva –
Set up was fairly easy but it will not AirPrint from my Mac, other devices yes, but not my Mac book pro.
BrandonB –
It’s ok for the price. Bluetooth feature is nice. Little difficult to set up. Wish it stayed on so I didn’t have to turn on Everytime I need to print.
user352991 –

highly recommend this business.” “Their customer service is second to none.” “The product quality is consistently outstanding, exceeding my expectations every time
JosephC –
Printed one project, got a print head error and had to contact Canon support. Was on a (relatively) short hold and they set up to send me a new one. Would rather be able to troubleshoot or bypass the error as it printed fine and needed this to complete a project on a deadline.
Judy –
I love this printer it’s quiet and prints very fast comes with easy instructions I recommend this printer because it is not expensive
Leandro –
I Like my Print, Great, A Love’it. Sounds good, really.
EricK –
Been using this printer for over a year now. Still a great printer.
GeoffS –
Getting this thing reconnected to wifi after a power outage took over 3 hours and required a phone support tech call. There’s no documentation for a DIY fix if this happens.
Also, the lack of a display window really makes using the on-printer functions difficult, like entering a wifi password.
CarmenR –
Print quality not as good as expected.Overall an OK product.
BrianA –
Excellent and ease-of-use printer/copier. Reliable and dependable. Quality print.

Dont waste your money on this printer. It work fine for coupe months after it kept disconecting from wifi and trying to reconnect always fails. Even using a smartphone but to conected it it had to connect to printer first and that fails to. No wonder is on sale.
Sanderman –
Perhaps the worst printer I’ve ever owned. Takes several minutes to print in black and white. Forget color. Throwing it away
LeeD –
Super Easy to setup and use with a computer or phone.

Printer was easy to setup on several different devices
wjl142 –
This printer was everything I was looking for:copy, print and scan. It was super easy to set up. I do wish it came with printed manual instead of having to locate and view on the computer. Ink is easy to install.
MsteckyLyn –
Canon has incorporated a new print Pgm that’s the only was to print. Bad network connection, unable to connect to Mac. The newer Canon are not like the older ones, the newer one is a peace of crap.
RandallL –
great printer. Great price. Great service. Great deal all around
Lovemystove –
Set up is not quick or easy. A lengthy task using the instruction.
PatrickP –
This printer is great and easy to setup. It works on my WiFi and from all of my devices.
user261803 –
Great printer for the price. However it powers off when not in use. This is not ‘ideal’ for a network printer. I have looked for a way to turn this power saving mode off, but can not find one. I am forced to go down the stairs turn the power on to print.
Mousefriend –
Print is faint and colors are not true. Running three clean and one deep clean cycle helped a little. Colors and print darkness are still not acceptable. Have to figure out how to return it under warrantee.
MichaelL –
Initially had issues getting it to print via WIFI, but followed the simple steps that it recommended, it’s worked well since. Hanen’t tried color printing or photos yet.
PamelaM –
My experience ordering this printer for home delivery could not have gone more smoothly. The product was delivered to my front door in about 2 days. It’s compact and lightweight – just what I was looking for!
Tj687 –
Good print quality, but slow printing. Purchased for 1/2 off.
JackBB –
Pretty disappointed in how slow printing is. I bought this to replace a 20+ year old Epson which had finally given up the ghost, and which was lightning fast compared to this Canon. Obviously I was wrong to assume that advances in technology since then would have at least made it as fast as that museum piece. The print quality is good, I’ll say that, but have a crossword puzzle, or a book, to have something to do while you wait for your print job.
