Great printer overall once set up. The downsides are that it’s a bit hard to set up wireless printing, and the shiny plastic finish scratches easily. It is a two tone red. The top is a bit darker red than the rest as shown in my pictures. Would recommend because it works great once set up and the color is very nice.

Could not connect to wireless network in our house. This is my 3rd wireless printer so it’s not like I haven’t done this before. My son-in-law, who is an IT professional, tried and was unable to connect it also. Not sure if this is a common problem or an isolated incident, but I certainly wouldn’t recommend this printer.

Perfect size and love the red. Prints as expected so far and the setup was not complicated as other reviews have mentioned. My only complaint it that it does not stay in “standby” mode for anytime/anywhere printing so whenever you want to print something you first need to press the power button on the printer.

I really like this printer. It’s a pretty cherry red color and prints pretty fast. I’ve used it a few times printing from my phone and laptop. It works great for personal use. The instructions were easy and the setup for Wi-Fi was quick and easy as well. I didn’t have any issue connecting. I would definitely recommend buying this printer.

This has got to be, quite honestly, the most conplicated setup ever. What’s presented on the instructions are vague and outdated. There isn’t a single correct picture on the instructions manual, which is also an inconvenience because it folds out like I’m reading a map. I wish I had attempted to set this up sooner so that I may get my money back and return it; but alas, life has its priorities. And of course, when life requires me to print something I can’t even accomplish that task. Now my priorities are to buy a new printer, which wouldn’t be the case if this thing actually worked.

Have had the previous model for years and loved it for every reason! Cheaper to replace than repair? Heres the breakdown: color – thought red would be fun…No! 2 tone so it looks cheap! Install – directions were just ok, needed to read through couple of times. Here is the worst part!!! Setup – ZERO STARS!! There are literally hours of my life i will never get back! It does not comnect to Wifi, downloaded “platform” – even worse than the instructions where they try to instruct you – no longer has a “dashboard” or “control panel”on printer —- do not recommend

I generally like canon printers and this is no different- it will be used for black and white document printing and so far has has been good. The only thing so far I don’t really like is with the front cover. I like to leave paper in the printer and to do so you have to leave the cover open. It’s a minor quibble really.

Bought this 9 months ago. Works well. Love the red color in my home office. Cannot figure out how to just use the cable without wifi function but that’s probably on me. This is a good reliable printer.
