Printer provides great output for letters. Double sided comes out perfect. I bought because I liked getting 3 bottles of black ink. I git tired of paying almost $100 dollars for my other brand ink cartridges. I set it up using an iPad. I have it working nicely. I also got it on a Black Friday sale for a huge discount. It would be better if you could feed multiple pages for copies and scanning. I am going to keep it because it saves money and produces quality looking letters. I am 73 years old so I am not as tech savvy as younger people. I did not have to call the geek squad for help.

I will update this later as I use the printer more, but so far:
setup was super easy, connecting it to my PC was smooth, and the print quality is pretty good.
I’ve been testing it on my digital art that isn’t in CMYK format on copy paper just for tests and the only thing i noticed is that, with the cricut print & cut prompt using the system pop up, that there are small, black, horizontal bands across the artwork.
I changed some settings and the banding went away so it may take some fiddling but the overall quality is very good after that!

So disappointed. The LED screen cannot be read, no backlight, and is especially aggravating since it is always in error mode. Has to be used daily to keep the heads from drying out. It has a hard time loading paper. It’s only useful for printing shipping labels

Terrible. Do not buy. Will say that it needs more paper when it has paper about 90% of the time. Then it will give every excuse not to work after that. Reliability is awful. When it does work, u have to literally click the stop and start button a bunch load of times. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Love this printer!! Its efficient prints fast was easy to setup love that it has double sided printing automatically. Printed quality pictures cant tell I printed them at home. So far Id say this is the best printer I have ever owned and Ive owned many over 25 years!! Worth the extra money because you save it with the refillable ink cartridge. I have an autistic child so I also printed on fabric transfer sheets to iron on labels and Its held up through the washes as well. With being able to do mostly from my phone with ease. Love it Recommend it! Also love cannon products

Glitches make this printer inconvenient and unusable. EVERY time I try and print there’s an issue. Connection drops, no connection on same network, page doesn’t print property/illegible due to ink issues, “no paper loaded” when tray is full from the designated print tray (front or rear). When I bought it I was excited for the large ink capacity, but all the issues completely negate this feature.

After setting up my printer I had to go away for over a week so I unplugged my printer and didn’t get back to it for a couple weeks. Very poor print quality and my heads were clogged. Did all the suggested fixes and no ink flows through the heads. Very disappointed. Love my other cannon products
