Brett –
The printer is one of the best things I’ve bought this year. It uses little ink, compared to my old printer. Set up was a breeze. The colors really pop.
Marine73 –
I like it,very easy to refill.
I would give it 5 stars,if it made better color copies, but the black copies are very good.
Quantityorquality –
Works great, set up was easy. Only thing is that the pictures are very washed out looking. All printed pages are normal. Maybe there is a setting for the ink quality of printing pictures that I don’t know about. And when I bought it I just assumed it was Bluetooth capable. Took me awhile to figure that out when I was setting it up.
I thought everything was Bluetooth now. My mistake. However I can deal with that. So really the only thing that bothers me is the quality of the pictures that I have printed being washed out looking.
memec –
Awesome printer! Meets all my needs and easy to use.
Stevo –
Prints very well. Was easy to install the ink and get started quickly.

Easy to set up with my new HP all-in-one computer. It was even $50 off! I ordered more ink but as little as I use printing I’ve probably got a lifetime supply. Be aware that it does NOT contain the printer-USB cable so order one of these at the same time (they are cheap!).
MetalMegadeth –
they loose connection and there not reliable don’t buy canon Printer
riz05 –
It’s a pretty good printer, the quality of prints are nice. The only con I think is not getting a WiFi connectivity in the printer as the USB cable for printer is not provided with the printer. The Ink tanks are very easy to fill-up and the additional 2 bottles of black ink along with 1 black, 3 color bottles seem enough for any user printing about 15-20 pages a day.
GreatPurchased –
This printer is way better than the one that needs ink catridge to refill
notsatisfied –
Have been using only a short time, Had used HP printers in the past but grew dissatisfied with ink consumption.
This printer came with loads of ink and will be less expensive to refill than HP cartridges.
Cannon –
Seems to work ok, only thing so far that I don’t like is the small led display window. Should be larger and backlit for easier viewing.
Susan –
Worked great with our last computer, we can’t install it with our new computer with windows 11.
Muphasta –
Returned it the day after I purchased it. It would not connect to my network. I am a sysadmin for a large entity so it isn’t like I don’t know what I am doing.
Easy –
So far excellent. Came with plenty of extra ink too! Easy to print from computer. No apps needed which I personally like.
Hazeybrain –
Only had this for a couple weeks now but so far it’s been perfect. Some trouble figuring out printing from desktop. But after a couple cocktails, it came easy
FanciFran –
OK printing, but not as much freedom as I’d like. I’d prefer to choose the quality of what I’m printing each time, but with this if you choose the correct paper being used you have to go with the setting the printer chooses. e.g. If I’m printing a card on cardstock but don’t want it photo quality I have to check plain paper and standard. If I check card stock it automatically goes to best quality. Maybe I’ll like it a lot better when I get used to it. It was very easy to set up, but the software is a little confusing. I print a lot of cards but with my old printer just using normal quality cards were fine. They’re not meant to be professional. The first card I printed with the Canon, from Hallmark software, I checked cardstock so it printed at Best quality. Admittedly the card turned out beautifully, took a long time to print as I was thinking of all the ink it must be using. So if you want to make professional looking cards, or even photos I think this would do excellent if you make the correct settings. Not sure how economical though. I also found it’s easier to scan of you install Canon Inkjet Smart Connect. I might note, this comes from the Microsoft store and I had a hard time getting the store to let me install it (it’s free).
Ferris11 –
Works well good definition on plain paper, excellent definition on photo paper. I’m having a little trouble fitting images to paper size but that might just be my unfamiliarity with the software.
unhappy –
It looked to be a modern printer. It is NOT WiFi capable. It cannot scan easily and I have yet to figure out how to scan and save a document as a pdf TIFF and jpg files are inferior!!
Dutch –
I have fallen in love with this “wired” printer that avoids the nonsense that was plaguing me with the wireless HP printers.
L123 –
I am disappointed. I loved my former Cannon Pixma and was thrilled to replace it with a tank ink model. This printer does NOT have WiFi or wireless capabilities. It does not come with the necessary cables to upload photos and it cannot be used with your phone. At this point, wireless technology should be standard.
G2260inkjetprinter –
Very pleased with this purchase. Lots of ink so you don’t have to keep on replacing the ink cartridges.
Dick –
Shipping was unusually quick. Arrived within a day. Instructions could be a bit simpler. The printed handbook was rather skimpy on details. Had to rely on the instructions from the computer. Once set up all went well. Copying proved to be rather confusing, but finally figured it out. Too bad it can’t be done directly with the printer keys. Direct printing via computer seems to work well. Photos show good detail and color.
AntiWiFi –
Was labeled wired! Requires WiFi to set up and therefore not wired! Ink was easy to set up. For Wired try HP Envy 6052 and avoid those electronic WiFi waves!
Mywiredprinter –
I like this printer because it is not wireless and less of a security issue. I won’t buy another HP printer because they want to lock you into their ink program and the printer has to be connected to the internet
CanonG2260 –
In my opinion, this is a capable and reliable product by Canon. I have had this printer for about a month and have tried all the basic functions. Scanning, copying and printing have all worked well for me. I initially encountered some of the “washed out” colors with my photo prints that others have commented on. But once I reviewed the software settings and chose the correct paper type and the correct quality settings, all was well. Although not super-fast, the printer is fast enough to function as your only printer. Thus far, I have barely made a dent in the high-capacity ink tanks, so this printer will be economical to operate compared to the cartridge-based color printers I have used in the past. One word of caution – this is a rear feed printer and you must allow enough room behind the printer to extend the rear feed tray completely. I recommend downloading the interactive online manual as it is helpful in explaining the nuances of using this printer.
Freezer –
Nice printer. Great to have tanks of ink instead of cartridges. Prints nice photos.
BBelite –
Great printer for all around use as home office, photos, projects, etc. Love the ink cartridge fill option.
Good –
Good good Good good Good good Good good Good good Good good
Tina –
I bought this after having my old canon biting the dust, but first i bought a HP to go with my new HP computer but that one sucked!! So i went back to Canon which i have loved the brand since my first Canon camera was bought for me for my HS grad. The ink in this lasts soooooo much longer than any cartridge. I have printed over 600 pictures and 1000 of papers for my preschoolers and finally had to fill the ink and i bought this printer in Jan.
Guinness65 –
works as advertised and Geek Squad technician was on time and did all that was requested
Yankeejohn –
Just set up my new PIXMA G2260. It was delivered in 3 days by Best Buy, set up was uncomplicated, copying and printing is easy, and the print quality is excellent. Draft copies now cost $.03/page and not $.30/page. So far I really like this printer. As hard as it is to believe, there wasn’t a USB cable in the box!
JohnM –
I bought this months ago, but just started using it. So far no worries. Unpacking and setting up took a little time but wasn’t really hard.
MattH –
worst product I have ever bought. Didn’t come with a USB A-B that is required to install. BestBuy would not replace the missing cord and said “it just doesn’t come with one” and told me to buy an additional cord which they didn’t even carry. Will not ever buy from BestBuy again.
CalvinK –
Hands down the best printer I have purchased in the last 20 years
VictorK –
Excellent printer. Canon got it right this time with HUGE ink tanks. I print a lot and the ink lasts a very long time before refills. Print quality is excellent. Other printers in this price range (or less) seem to be of good quality but they get you with the inks…..cheap printer, expensive inks. Not this one! The machine is not finicky like some others are. Just put the paper in and go…..
Emn051 –
Good printing and faster, we print some pic, and were good
Rich –
Never have to worry about ink for a very long time how it goes very long maybe like 20 times longer than any other ink cartridge Prince beautifully and the pictures are awesome
MdA1 –
This product is really good . It’s really works good. I’m 100% recommend this product for use
StevenS –
Easy to use! The ink lasts forever. Canon app is great!
BamaGal –
Good printer but does not have Wifi. Prints very well with deep excellent colors
ZobairA –
Bought is almost 1.5 years ago. Still could not finish first tank of ink. Color and speed of print is good. Blacks are dark enough. I have printed some photos, looks better than walgreen printed photos.
Satisfied –
Prints beautifully. Economical mega tanks for ink.
SpeechPreschool –
I truly LOVE this printer! I am a Preschool Speech Therapist, which requires me to make tones of copies and images to support their learning. I constantly brag and recommend this product to my fellow coworkers and those working in education!
JosephA –
This is a great printer only know is it doesn’t do two sided printing.
David –
Only plan on buying this printer if you have your own cable to connect it to one computer. This might have good ratings but only for people who are not trying to print wirelessly to a printer. There is no option to connect to Wi-Fi, no Bluetooth connection from other printers. If you have an Apple computer you can’t even plug it into most of them because they do not have USB Outlets. Don’t even think of printing from your phone. I was attracted to this printer because of the huge ink bottles I like the idea of not refilling ink all the time. I had Canon photo paper and tried printing out 8×10 size sheets. It printed two sheets out fine. But the rest that I tried it completely washed out the picture and was not vibrant. I did a cleaning and nothing changed it’s still printed the picture out whitewashed. All of these problems cause me to take it back to the store. I’m glad I buy my products through Best Buy and pay for the pro membership. It’s worth it. I spent way too much time trying to figure out how to hook this computer up wirelessly, so hopefully my review saves you time. Time to go buy a Smart Printer.

The screen needs to have a light to view display menu.
