    I also bought this to try for toner foiling. I have only used it a few times so far. It works beautifully with my inexpensive laminator. I make sure to set the printer settings density to dark, and so far I’m very happy with the results.

    I liked the price and what i got for the pruce i paid, it printe wuth good quality and fast, whst i disliked was tge set up process yiu do need the disc to ger it working including the wifi it eas a bit confusing other than that ots s good product .

    I bought this for craft foiling. Did have to take some extra steps for set up since driver was sent in a CD but was able to get it set up using an online download. Works great- super fast printer with a smaller footprint!

    After a bit of a nightmare for the setup – I’m on a MacBook so there is no cd drive and the online drivers did not show up anywhere – the printer works well and I’m able to print remotely. It’s nice and small, and I’m looking forward to not having jammed inkjets to deal with anymore.

    I have never had a printer that was so difficult to set up and the instructions don’t help. I finally got it set up without the setup tool (it never finds the printer over Wifi through the tool) on my Windows 11 machine and got it to work on my Android phone, but can’t get it to work at all on our Macbook Pro (without installing additional OS software even though it’s brand new) or an iPhone. I guess we’ll find out by it not printing when the toner runs out. I’m glad we only use it very occasionally.

    I have been an IT person for many years and never have had an issue with any other printer (Laser or inkjet) and wish I had spent extra for another brand.

    I bought this printer thinking it would work. naturally, as an attorney i need a printer that works. After having my staff spend more than 8 hours trying to get the thing to work I had them throw it in the trash can since the box had already been thrown away. I should have burned the $100 bill rather than buying this printer as the end was the same.

    So far, so good! We have only had the printer for about 2 weeks, but it seems to be in good working order and is a similar model to one that we have had in our office for a couple of years now. I would recommend this Canon printer over the HP options we have tried. Use OEM toner cartridges if you can.

    I bought this to replace an aging Canon printer that somehow needed to have the ink replaced more frequently than before. I’m not sure if this was a firmware update that cause that, but either way, I’m much happier with this printer as I only need b/w prints for eBay labels.

    It does the job, and it does it very well if you don’t need color!
